Time To Brand Another Stadium
September 11th, 2016The Bucs played their final game in the Georgia Dome today, a memorable 31-24 win.
One guy who will be bummed to see this place torn down will be Bucs middle linebacker Kwon Alexander. As Joe noted, Alexander went nuts today with 15 tackles and two assists.
“He’s the Jameis of the defense,” Vernon Hargreaves beamed when asked about Alexander’s day.
Hargreaves insisted he was not surprised at all.
Last year as a rookie on the same field, Alexander had a memorable highlight-reel fumble recovery and an interception.
It is as if the playing field of the Georgia Dome is Alexander’s backyard and everyone else playing had to get his permission, first.
“For Kwon and me, this is like home,” America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston said. “We’re from right down the road near Birmingham.”
“Yeah, man, I’m going to miss it,” Alexander said of the Georgia Dome. “Now it’s on to the next one” and brand that.

It was awesome to hear the chants of “Defense, Defense” late in the fourth, when Atlanta had the ball.

Best Buc play I ever seen was last year when Kwon chased down Julio Jones , caught up to him, pulled the ball out of his hands and ran back the other way Kwon was a rookie on fire!
