“He Cares About No Feelings, No Emotions”
September 7th, 2016Here’s a fresh peek into the mindset of America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.
Joe hit Jameis with a question today and Jameis’ answer illustrated how he approaches being coached.
Joe asked about how new offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Todd Monken is making an impact. Monken is really the only new link on the Bucs’ offensive staff.
JoeBucsFan.com: What has Coach Monken brought to this receiving corps and to you personally?
Jameis Winston: Just brought that work ethic (laughs). You know, Coach Monken, he cares about no feelings, no emotion. He cares about execution and doing your job. And you know, that’s what you need. It sounds very blunt. But that’s what you need. You know, we are grown men; some of us are young grown men. And sometimes you just need to be like that with us. Tell us what we need to do and expect greatness from us.
Pretty cool stuff from Jameis, and a great look at the no-BS approach he brings to the game of football. Eventually, that mindset should rub off on a lot of his teammates.
Joe will be looking to see a significant reduction in penalties as Exhibit-A.

And expect greatness from us.

This whole “they’re grown men” is bs. Billicheat don’t give a darn if they grown, neither did Coughlin, or parcels or jimmy Johnson. Sounds like some lame line that Dungy must have come up with. In the words of the late great “just win baby, just win”.
I heard JW tried to give a speech last year like he did Sunday night but Lovie told him to stop being so passionate. “We are all grown men, no need for the rah rah”. An untold source said

Be careful the every one gets a hug and trophy crowd might protest one buc. BSPN will get on board…
Evans having his first real nfl WR coach is going to be huge.

Evans already had an NFL coach, and did the most with that coach! Would any one be ok with the same type of year he had last year? I would!

DB you hate Lovie and Dungy so much you missed Jameis point. He’s saying the fact that they all are grown men they should be able to handle Monkens ruff and rugged approach to coaching and simply do what they’re supposed to do. No cry babies no girlie men. Not getting all emotional like ASJ. So I don’t understand where is the bs Jameis spoke. So you understand Jameis said it not Dungy.

Not referring to JW. I’m talking about the talking heads who for years have constantly reminded us that these are grown men who can not be yelled at or scolded. I would love nothing more than for coach or JW to rip them a new one. Based on what we’ve seen on the field in the past the team could use some butt-chewing.
