unbelievable: I remember back in the day when 102.5 was “The Point” and played cutting edge alternative which at the time was things that 98 Rock or 103.5 would not play (95YNFR already said sayunara by then)…. The Point had a strong signal, it could be heard all the way to Alligator Alley so I am guessing it is a 100K blowtorch out of a south Hillsborough locale like Ruskin and it carried advertising not from just Tampa St Pete, but also a couple of clubs from Charlotte County, Fort Myers and cape coral…. Damn good music!… Anyhow, interesting spot for Ian Beckles to land at! Personally I like him better than Diaz who is still at DAE…..

I also like Beckles. I like to hear my NFL opinions from people who actually played. He did play against Reggie White twice a year for some time.
