“I Left A Lot Of Plays On The Field”
August 1st, 2016America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, may make history for the Bucs. But this morning, he made television history.
Jameis was the very first guest on “Good Morning Football,” the latest installment of NFL Network morning TV. Joe’s only question about this change in programming is if fetching Colleen Wolfe will still be employed by the network?
One of the question Jameis got hit up with was about red zone offense. Jameis said he must improve this area in a big way.
“I left a lot of plays on the field in the red zone in the passing game last year,” Jameis said. “I definetly have to get better at that. You never arrive but you get better. I have a great supporting cast to help me out.”
Jameis also seemed ecstatic that Team Glazer and Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht decided to keep Dirk Koetter on board.
“Being in an offense for a second year makes things more simple for me,” Jameis said. “I was blessed with a great running back and a great supporting cast. It will be so much fun going into Year 2 with those guys and to show how good are chemistry really is.”
Jameis also discussed his dog Tootsie and the pooch’s Instagram account, and how Mike Evans is the dog’s uncle of sorts. Jameis said when he has a bad day at work, Tootsie always supports him when he gets home.

I REALLY love Nate Burleson’s new show..what a refreshing NFL Network show that talks about ALL teams..Nate’s good at interviewing..loved it..look forward to it on Mondays after weekend long football games..
Yesterday it was all Odell Beckham and his little cut on his leg. Jesus Christmas! You would have thought he had just chopped off his leg!
Jameis looked good this morning! Love Good Morning Football..now at least I can watch something good instead of that over bloated egotistical Heath Evans..
