Practice Video: Jameis, QBs, & Receivers
June 12th, 2016Who doesn’t like watching football and the development of your beloved Buccaneers in the spring?
In the exclusive JoeBucsFan.com practice video below, you’ll see quarterbacks and receivers moving through an out-route drill.
There’s Todd Monken, wide receivers coach/offensive coordinator, being his usual high-energy self. You’ll also see quarterbacks coach Mike Bajakian apparently get under the skin of No. 3 QB Ryan Griffin.
The bad drop shown is from ex-USF receiver Andre Davis. Bernard Reedy (No. 15) makes the tough grab from Mike Glennon.
Enjoy.

I’ve been hearing reports that Mike Evans is having a monster offseason so far. How has he been looking Joe?

I thought we were practicing with helmets off?

How can we judge these players, they’re running around in shorts this is a NON CONTACT scrimmage . Of course they will look good ( how can they look bad). This is the male version of LINGERIE FOOTBALL, let’s wait until the preseason games begin.. On a different note Raheem Morris is the new WR coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Dan Quinn want him to work with the receivers on getting free from cornerbacks. They think that his years of experience as a DB and Secondary coach will help their young receivers.

Maybe so. But his biggest problem last year was dropping the ball when he was wide open. If he’s making 90% of his catches, that’s a vast improvement. Contact or not.

FIRE, There are times with helmets off, but not always.

I hope Monken helps Molasse Evans with his terrible route running.
we should pickup Anquan Boldin to teach Evans how to be physical and play angry.
We should cut the “worst 2016 contract ” 11 milly vincent Jackson and pickup some playmakers

By “monster offseason” does LoyalBuc96 mean that Mike Clayton Evans has stopped batting down passes like they’re volleyballs?
Maybe he has reduced the frequency and dramatic crying associated with his temper tantrums over contested passes?
Monster!

Saw a drop towards the end…..for every drop in practice…the offense should run a fifty yard sprint and add them up at the end of the practice…..Where is Les Steckel when you need him, Joe??????

LifeOfABucFan, I’m on the Davis bandwagon also. Jameis needs all of the weapons he can get.
