“Life Changes For Us”
June 22nd, 2016First-round pick Vernon Hargreaves seems pretty grounded in reality for a guy who just turned 21.
He and Bucs rookies volunteered at One Buc Palace yesterday to help lead a TV-friendly kids clinic for Tampa youngsters. It was all part of the NFL’s famous Play 60 program.
WFLA-TV had its crew out there talking to Hargreaves and his rookie class, along with kids participating, and more.
Hargreaves referenced the seemingly taboo topic of players making big Bucs and how “life changes for us.”
Enjoy the video below. And kudos to the Bucs for all the great community work they do.

Vernon Hargreaves will be a star for the Bucs, and a star in the community.

Ill slap myself for making this comparison but are Sims and Vitale supposed to be Dunn and Alstott 2.0? They look the part. Slapping will begin in 3…2..1

This is great! Play 60 Flag Football is a great thing as well. Good to read and hear about nice things like this.

No. *IF* Vitale plays fullback, he will not get nowhere near the amount of touches Alstott had.
Also, the Bucs aren’t paying Doug Martin mega cash to be a part-time running back.

I’m thinking a few years down the road or if dougie gets injured. Never know. They look like an a typical thunder and lightning combo.

Nice pun, Joe….
From what I’ve seen of VH3 thus far…..he is likely to be a great Buc representative to the community….he really has a solid head on his shoulders for a young guy…..

Sims had the best yards per carry average out of all the RB’s in the league last season. His problem was he didn’t get enough touches. He’s certainly got the skill set to do so. Then again that could be the reason he was so succesful. He didn’t have to carry the whole load. In Wich I agree, I think he thrives in the change of pace role Instead of being the work horse.
