GMC Has No Beef With Top 100

No qualms with NFL Network Top 100 list.
It seems not all NFL players are cool with the NFL Network’s Top 100 players list. But that doesn’t include Bucs defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
Recently, 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman went off on the annual listing, a summer programming staple of the league’s house organ. Bowman believes the list is trash, calling it “totally bogus.”
Bowman was ranked No. 61 for 2016. However, the man ranked two spots lower than him, GMC, told Joe today he has no issues at all with the list.
“That’s NaVorro Bowman, I ain’t got nothing to say about that,” GMC said of Bowman’s complaints. “Wherever they put me is where they put me.”
The list is compiled from players’ votes. Bowman believes the list is rigged and claims he has never seen a player cast a ballot, though the NFL Network swears 700 players in the NFL vote on the list. Lavonte David confirms he votes and stuffs the ballot box.

GMC has no reason to complain. A lot of players think that they are better than they actually are.

Good for you DB. If only the other GMC bashers would follow your lead. As Joe has said many times – its no crime to not be as good as Sapp. GMC is a good player and does have a positive impact in every game he plays in. As the talent around him increases, so will GMC’s “splash” plays.

of course he has no beef….he’s a teddy bear…he just wants to smile and have fun…gmc should feel disrespected….I bet bowman plays this whole year with a huge chip on his shoulder…feeling disrespected and unappreciated….I wish gmc played pissed off and with a chip on his should….but it is what it is…he’s a buc so…..GO BUCS!!!!

He should feel disrespected? According to you and a bunch of other ignorant pseudo fans he isn’t worthy of the top 100 anyway!
He takes this list the right way—- who cares?!? It’s an abitrary list. It means nothing.
There is one thing that pisses him off and he has mentioned it several times over the years: the losing. The lack of progress.
With Ayers and Spence and a healthy smith on the outside and a healthy Akeem Spence and McDonald inside with McCoy… The defense is going to turn around big time. Add in 4 good CBs and the new coaches and I predict a top 10 defense
But you guys keep believing McCoy is soft just because he’s a nice guy and doesn’t let BS bother him.
