Camp Jameis
June 21st, 2016Yes, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, was at his football camp yesterday at Sunlake High School in Pasco County. Dude looked like he was having a blast.
In this report by Kevin O’Donnell, of WTVT-TV Channel 13, O’Donnell shows how engaged Jameis was with the campers.
This is not schtick. Joe has seen first-hand how wonder Jameis is with kids, who easily can spot a phony.
Joe’s favorite moment of witnessing Jameis with kids was after the tough loss to the Colts last year in Indianapolis. There, in the bowels of Lucas Oil Stadium, were 30 or so kids, perhaps third graders, who spotted Jameis as headed toward the team bus. That freaked out: “Jameis! … Jameis! … Jameis!” they squealed. Jameis walked over to the group after they got his attention, shook off the bad vibes from a tough loss, and then chatted with the kids as he signed autographs for as long as he could without missing the team bus.
You can see for yourself in the WTVT-TV video below how well Jameis works with youngsters.

LOL When I first read the headline I thought Joe was going to report on how the Buc’s are now #3’s team,
Last year before camp everybody worried how #3 would fit…how a rookie would be received by vets…who was the team leader…GMC or #3? Lot’s of questions last year.
This year…training camp will be Jameis’ camp. That what I thought the headline was revealing. What a difference a year makes. That alone gives us a leg up from last year…there are NO more questions about which straw stirs the Buc’s drink. #3 is no longer a rookie…no more off field questions as we see in this piece.
Hey Bucs fans what can I say except that IT’S ALL GOOD!
How often have we’ve been able to say that as Buc’s fans?

Can’t believe we made this guy the face of the franchise.

For Jameis and the rest of the team……just stay off TMZ this summer.
We are officially in the BLACK HOLE OF NFL NEWS between here at start of camp. If you see a member of your team in the news, you pray its something like this Camp Jameis is doing and not stumbling out of a clothing optional establishment at 2am drunk and playing with firearms.
I feel bad for the Joe’s has to be hard coming up with articles to publish when not much is going on.

I visit the site multiple times a day like most, but never posted. I was at the camp yesterday – my buddy had two kids participating. I was not a Jameis fan, but also had nothing against him.
I was very impressed to see him there yesterday. He was there right from the start of the camp (they said he arrived an hour early and was waiting in the lot when camp people got there to set up) and was with the kids the entire 3.5 hours, not including lunch with a small group after. You could just see that he wanted to be there with those kids and do everything he could to help them have fun. My buddy brought his kids to the Freeman camp a few years ago and he said the vibe was completely different.
Some people seem to be waiting for Jameis to slip up – but if this guy is for real, and I think he is – I’m proud that he’s on my team and representing my city.

Jameis is real and I am proud to be a Bucs fan.
Hope the team stays away from drinking and doing fireworks at the same time over next few weeks.

If you don’t like it, I’m sure the Titans would be happy to welcome you to their fanbase. People will always talk bad about Jameis, but in the years to come, he’s going to prove all the doubters wrong. We picked the right QB.

Lmao @ lunchbox. Welcome aboard you are obviously a noob.
Jameis is a big kid himself, that’s why he’s so awesome. The kid just wants to win win win no matter what.
I wish the moral police would shut up already if players want to get drunk at the mons it won’t be the first time and this is America so just let them be. It’s the offseason, YOLO!
Next year I want the team to run into the field while the DJ plays “bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do whatcha gonna do when they come you”.
It’s a new day!
