Donovan Smith described his offseason lifestyle today at One Buc Palace
NFL players sure have the life, especially the young, single guys with job security.
Take left tackle Donovan Smith. He told media at One Buc Palace today that last year, as an NFL Draft hopeful, his agent had him on a strict schedule.
This year? That’s another story. Smith enjoys the post-college life in the NFL.
“Wake up. Eat. Work out. Then you still got a whole day to do nothing,” Smith said. “So then you work out again and then you just try to find stuff, like go bowl 12 games.”
Man, Joe is jealous. What a life!
This past weekend on WDAE-AM 620, college basketball icon Dick Vitale talked about hanging out with Smith recently at a Tampa Bay Lightning game. Vitale said he was impressed with Smith and shared how Smith, a criminology major at Penn State, was eager chatted with a friend of who worked in law enforcement.
Yes, the young Bucs get around and half fun. Good for them! Yesterday, Austin Seferian-Jenkins was even looking for a date on social media to an upcoming Beyonce concert.

My attention span for bowling is only good for 2 games. Game 3 starts off terribly and ends up with trick shots and goofing around.

I’m not complaining that he isn’t working out 24 hours a day but I do follow him on Instagram and really only see pictures of him hitting golf balls, bowling, and partying. If he wants to be one of the best left tackles in the league he’s going to have to put in the work. I’m sure he’s doing it but it’d be nice to see it.

Remember one of the knocks on him coming out was laziness. Don’t believe that however when you know that is out there, his manager should make sure he is posting pictures of him working out

Please Joe… If u envy 12 bowls a day ur ur a lite weight!!!! AND HEY ASJ…. Take my word for it…. Girls dig guys with money so don’t get to excite when u find a date just saying bro… I’m ur biggest fan but I would hate to see u go all Aron Hernandez on us when u realize what’s up with the gold chasers male or female….LOL
