Robert Ayers Talks Jameis
April 26th, 2016The Bucs had a walk-through practice this morning at One Buc Palace, so Joe asked veteran newcomer defensive end Robert Ayers for his impressions of the franchise, America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.
Ayers, who turns 31 before opening day, is an outspoken guy. He nearly always has a lot to say and is a very straight shooter, as Joe has learned from various media folks around the NFL.
Ayers, the Broncos’ first-round pick in 2009, was happy to give his first take on Jameis.
“I don’t know how he is with football, but as a guy, you know, I’ve talked to him a lot. He seems like a great guy to be around, man,” Ayers said of Jameis. “He seems like a guy that people just naturally, you know, gel to. I’ve had a handful of conversations with him, but he’s just like a good guy you just want to know, ‘What’s Jameis doing?’ that type of thing. He’s a great guy. So I’m looking forward to [working with him.] From what I here he works hard, and I’m looking forward to see how my teammates and everyone go about things here.”
So far, it seems Jameis is impressing the first crop of free agents premier Bucs free agents to arrive with Jameis at the helm.

Robert – You think you like him now? Just wait till you see Jaboo in action everyday on the football field.

Now that Jameis has slimmed down somehow Jaboo no longer fits. I know it’s not related.

Ummm.. They had to game plan for him last year when Ayers was with the GMen.. And played a full game against him. I’m sure he has more insight the just that…. Yawn.
