The Bucs will turn to a college basketball icon to bring them good luck.
Joe sure hopes this doesn’t anger the football gods on Saturday, when noted Bucs fan Dick Vitale will seize the esteemed NFL Draft podium in Chicago to call the Bucs’ fourth- through seventh-round picks.
Booger McFarland and Ronde Barber get the second- and third-round honors, respectively, on Friday night. The Bucs made the announcement today.
And no, Joe isn’t thinking there’s any connection between the Bucs inviting Barber and Booger and Tampa Bay potentially being disinterested in trading up or down — and subsequently out of the second or third round.

Nobody in this draft excites me enough to give up ANY draft picks! MG8…EDS to sweeten the pot fine…if it’s just moving some spots in a given round..OK…but we need ALL of our picks.

Not sure if you guys have checked this out or not but it is pretty cool. You can do your own Bucs draft using tons of different draft boards in Simulation.

I think its a good job on selecting them!!! It does not hurt that the pick the all time great, My favorite old time buc,,,,,

Why does Booger get the 2nd round pick instead of Ronde? Swap that order.

I recall a couple of years ago Vitale emphatically stated the Bucs should draft Johnny Manziel. Thankfully no one listened to him.

Pickgrin….I want them to overload on DE’s until they get it right. I’m being serious too. I know we have other needs, but enough is enough. Draft a shyte-load of them and they’re bound to find 2 good ones or one really good one.
Yeah some are not big fans of Bosa, but I am. I think he’ll have the bigger impact for the DL than Ramsey for the secondary. He’s also plug and play too. I guess Ramsey is also.
I don’t know maybe a close tie, but DE, DE, DE trumps Ramsey for me.
I’ll vomit if they draft Hargreaves.
