Joe Cullen Interviewing With Ravens

It looks like new Bucs defensive coordinator Mike Smith has no use for retained (for now) defensive line coach Joe Cullen.
Per Alex Marvez of FOX Sports and SiriusXM NFL Radio, Cullen is interviewing with the Ravens today. It’s unclear what position Cullen is seeking, though it seems clear the Bucs gave him permission.

mike smith has been around a long time and i’m sure he’s got some guys in mind. i just hope they are actual quality coaches instead of under-qualified relatives or buddies in need of a job

If I’m not mistaken, weren’t Cullen and Nickerson on Mike Smiths defensive staff in Jacksonville in the same positions they are currently in. I figured this is why they were retained by the Bucs.

Mike Smith knows what he is doing. And with a defensive draft coming his way, we are going to dominate sometime within the next year.

Mike Smith is gonna fail miserably. dolphins LB’s suck a fat one and we replaced a a quality LB’s coach in Hardy Nickerson for that scrub? Cmon man!!! Cullen should’ve been allowed to stay also!
