It’s a preseason clash between hated Marcus Mariota and the Titans, the Bucs’ opening-day opponent, and the nasty defensive line of the Rams and quarterback Nick Foles.

More than a few Bucs fans immediately scoffed at Bruce Carter when Lovie Smith announced that rookie fourth-round draft pick Kwon Alexander was elevated to the starting gig at middle linebacker.
