Man, when Joe saw injured right tackle Demar Dotson on crutches last week, Joe thought the dude was on stilts he is so big.
One of the nicest guys you will ever meet, Dotson injured his knee late in the first half of the first preseason game because Lovie Smith feared for the safety of “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston. (more…)
New quarterback of the Bucs defense Kwon Alexander, per Lavonte David, is traveling a road different from that of the No. 1 overall pick.
The philosophy of preparing Kwon Alexander to start as a rookie middle linebacker seems to be a lot different from what’s going on with America’s Quarterback, rookie Jameis Winston.
Lavonte David explained. (more…)
Last year, the Bucs’ offensive line was such an unmitigated trainwreck, fans wanted to heave a warm $9 beer on the field of play at the Den of Depression, if not just plain heave. (more…)
Back in the early days of the Raheem Morris administration, Tampa Bay had a young defensive end with a superior get-off and a bit of a nasty edge to him.
That guy went on to great stardom. (more…)
Joe’s already called opening day against the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 13 in Tampa a “must-win.”
It’s not a must-win for the standings. Duh. But it is necessary for the psyche of a fanbase that hasn’t seen a home victory since 2013, and compares Jameis Winston to Marcus Mariota. (more…)
Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, believes rookies should be seen and heard, if that’s who they are.

Former Bucs DT Booger McFarland, star of SEC Network and SiriusXM NFL Radio, dispelled a years-long narrative by the Bucs.
So many people from One Buc Palace cry to the sky how the team needs an edge rush to enable All-Pro defensive tackle Gerald McCoy to jostle, mock and rob opposing quarterbacks each and every play.
Joe hears this so much he wants to toss his breakfast in the front yard of his neighbor’s house that flies a Redskins flag daily. (more…)
You have heard the saying, “It all starts up front.” Well, for Bucs coach Lovie Smith and his defense, it really does start up front.
Pressure will make this defense hum. (more…)
Be careful what you do at home with those Surface tablets the team gave you, Bucs players. You better be watching game film and not those Jenna Jameson flicks.
Why? Because Bucs coach Lovie Smith is watching! (more…)
You’ve listened to and seen the advertisements for 411 Pain and other lawyer referral services.

A couple of teams on the Buccaneers’ schedule square off tonight on FOX at 8 p.m.
It’s a preseason clash between hated Marcus Mariota and the Titans, the Bucs’ opening-day opponent, and the nasty defensive line of the Rams and quarterback Nick Foles.
Bang it right here in the comments on all things Mariota and the Titans. Perhaps Bucs officials reading this will give weight to your opinions.
Please-never-again center Garrett Gilkey is in the mix to start at right guard.
Gilkey was the starter there for the Bucs’ preseason opener and was a force early in a successful run game. And then there’s the latest take from offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter. (more…)
Former Bucs DT Booger McFarland reminded fans of a Bucs receiver who had an outstanding rookie season and fell off the map.
Joe just loved the fact Mike Evans, with downright slop for a quarterback, developed into one of the top receivers in the NFL as a rookie.
Joe lays awake at night not only wondering what Evans still can be, but with “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, now throwing to him, just how lethal that combination could be. (more…)
Bucs fans are startling to grumble over second-year tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
They’ve read about his ability and how he could be the next Tony Gonzalez, so his offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter dropped on Joe some weeks ago. (more…)
Based on new information, Joe’s guessing Mike Evans wasn’t one of the Buccaneers texting Jason Licht to draft Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, during the 2014 season. (more…)
What does Joe expect on Monday night against the Bengals?
Aside from a meaningless game, Joe’s looking for a change in the offense. (more…)
Bucs fans’ hope for a legitimate edge pass rush this season largely fell on the shoulders of Jacquies Smith, who emerged from the scrap heap last year with 6 1/2 sacks in about half a season.
But there’s one big problem with that. (more…)
