Bad Santa stands in the way of Jameis and victory Sunday.
So the gameplan for the Bucs is simple this week. It really isn’t much different than it was against the Titans.

Peter King searching for the meaning of Jameis.
Joe thinks it is no less than asinine to judge the career of any quarterback after one game. Only avowed haters or rank simpletons would.
Did America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, have a good day? No, he did not. But. It. Was. One. Game. (more…)

Dealing with the crowd noise at Death Valley and the well-oiled Cajuns at the Superdome are a bit different.
So now that America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, has his first home game under his belt, it is on to bigger challenges. That would be a road game. (more…)

Bucs OC Dirk Koetter was in no mood to hand out empty praise today.
Dirk Koetter could turn out to be the second coming of Jeff Jagodzinski for all Joe cares, and Joe already is smitten with the Bucs’ offensive coordinator.
When asked a question, any type of question, Koetter has no filters. (more…)

Lollipop snaps to America’s Quarterback are a new problem.

Has Lovie painted himself into a corner?
Joe just has to link to an article that used the word “plague” in the second paragraph when it comes to the current miserable state of the Bucs.
And who else to use such a word than hand-grenade-tosser, ornery Alan Dell of the Bradenton Herald. (more…)

Jameis wasted little time Sunday breaking down film. (Photo courtesy of Buccaneers.com.)
A lot of fans scoffed when Lovie Smith aid it was just one game, after his defense was pistol-whipped (again) Sunday, this time by a rookie quarterback making his NFL debut.
