“Watching Sucks”
December 2nd, 2015The pride of Hobart College, the Division-III manbeast on the Bucs’ offensive line, rookie Ali Marpet, is sick and tired of the bench.
That’s where Marpet has been since spraining his ankle during the first half against the Giants on Nov. 8.
Marpet was very hopeful and eager to return before the following game versus the Cowboys, so you can imagine how frustrated he is now.
“It’s pretty obvious I want to play. Watching sucks,” Marpet told Joe and assembled media in the locker room this afternoon.
Marpet said he expected to not be “limited” in practice today but wasn’t sure what would happen. The Bucs’ official injury report will be available before 4 p.m.
Joe has a little pity for the next defensive linemen across from Marpet, who’s been hammering away in the gym and has been refreshed by the layoff.

Waiting sucks too,
Hope he’s back in the lineup soon!

Exactly Joe! If his ankle is good to go the rest of his body is going to be in awesome shape especially for an NFL player this time of the year, normally loaded with aches and pains.
And the frustration of sitting is going to give him a serious attitude problem which is good for the Bucs and as you suggest bad for the DL trying to beat him.

Injury report says he was a full participant in today’s practice. Gos did not practice with a knee injury, so maybe we’ll see Dotson’s return on Sunday.
