Kwon Making An Impact
November 4th, 2015Just ask opponents. Kwon Alexander makes an impact. Joe noticed that in preseason games.
And yes, for fans, Alexander is making an impact in their hearts the way he manned up under trying circumstances to help out his second family, his teammates. Cool stuff.
But half the guys who never made an NFL defensive roster could hit. You also have to play. And per Randall Liu, who works for the NFL, Alexander is making an impact in his play.

Pretty neat stuff there. Alexander doing things a rookie linebacker hasn’t done in the NFL in nine years.
And then, of course, you have America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston. And Ali Marpet. And Donovan Smith, who is quietly improving.
The future around these parts is looking bright. A new day in Tampa Bay. Make way for the rookies.

I really believe Jason Licht and Lovie Smith will make excellent choices in next year’s draft. They haven’t missed apart from guys in the late rounds.

Standing ovation for the only defensive draft pick

I think I read or heard that 10 of the 44 player who suited up in Atlanta were either rookies or playing in their first NFL season.
As this piece points out that large group of rookies includes quite a few impact players who are already making a difference and will only get better with time.
If Licht can have another draft like this year’s next year we could be truly tough.

Great job drafting by the staff. Hopefully they’ll get to add a few more defensive players thru the draft next year.

Ghengis Kwon or Alexander the Great. Either one works.

There was a piece on how the Bucs were turned on to Alexander late, I believe. I thought I read it here.
