Jameis Talks Lovie Drilling, Heisman Voting, “Wake Up Calls,” “Babysitting” & More
November 25th, 2015America’s Quarterback is, well, becoming America’s Quarterback.
Earlier today, Jameis Winston showed his ease on national radio with one of the pillars of NFL media, Rich Eisen of NFL Network, who also hosts a daily show for NBC Sports Radio.
Jameis hasn’t done much national media since the start of the regular season, but that’s been changing a lot in recent days. And there was, um, talent from BSPN at One Buc Palace today.
Jameis talked to Eisen about many topics, including how he only hangs out with teammates at their homes, and only guys without wives, early wake-up calls on the football field, Lovie Smith’s drilling, college football and much more.
Enjoy the video below.

Jameis speaks with humility…..maturity…..is respectful and seems to always come up with an honest….non-evasive answer. You can tell from the interview that Rich Eisen likes him.
Maybe Rich will start calling him “America’s QB”

I will be the first to make this comparison I’m sure….
JW reminds me of your favorite player Mr. Derrick Brooks!!!!
Oh my goodness….. Could you imagine with me for a second having a #55 caliber player playing QB….. That’s an awesome feeling right there boys and girls….
And how about him almost choking up old Rickie E with his reply to bow his award compares to the Heismen!!!!
“Uh ah, you can even high step with it.” LOL….
Bet the National spot light is really gonna shift when we beat down the Colts this week for some long awaited sweet revenge!!!!

I’ve been a Bucs fan since ’76. Was at their first home victory against the St. Louis Cardinals. For years a season ticket holder. Was happy when they drafted Testeverde only to be disappointed in his performance. I was hoping they would draft Jameis because I felt he had the talent to make more accurate throws in smaller windows than Mariota. Bottom line for me is no other Bucs player has made me this excited about the present and future of the team. This kid just wants to win. Every week, all the time. Train him up and get out of his way! Go Bucs!!!

He is very impressive; one of those once in a lifetime personalities that attracts many people. There was a lot of smiling between him and some of the Philly defenders.

ATLBucsFan: I was at that memorable game too. In fact, the commemorative poster has been hanging on my wall for the nearly 40 years since. Fans tore down the goalposts as Dave Pear commented, “Whoda thunk it?”
