Gameday Tampa Bay
November 1st, 2015Game Seven
Bucs (2-4) at Dixie Chicks (6-1)
Kickoff: 1 p.m.
TV: WTVT-TV Channel 13.
Radio: Buccaneers Radio Network (WDAE-AM 620 and WFUS-FM 103.5 in Tampa-St.Petersburg region); SiriusXM Channel 134.
Weather: Not too bad for tailgaters. The weather will sort of be the same as it was in Washington, D.C. last week. Of course, since the game is in a dome, it is all about tailgating as far as weather is concerned. Per AccuWeather.com. expect clouds this morning in downtown Atlanta with the temperature hovering near 60. By the time kickoff rolls around, it should be 62. After the game, expect rain, but the temperature won’t be awful, as it should be in the mid-60s.
Odds: Per FootballLocks.com, Dixie Chicks -7.
Outlook: Quite frankly, Joe cannot fathom the Bucs winning this game. If the bumbling Bucs defense, that’s (4-18) Lovie Smith’s defense, is giving up 30 points (on average) to schlock teams like Tennessee, Jacksonville and Washington, just how in the name of Monte Kiffin are the Bucs going to hold down Matty Ice and Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman and Roddy White to less than four scores in their crib? The only way Joe can fathom the Bucs being in the game is if the Bucs continue to grind it out offensively on the ground, play keep-away from the Dixie Chicks and force turnovers. That is the only way. Good luck with that, as the Dixie Chicks are stingy defensively against the run. With Louis Murphy gone for the year and Vincent Jackson likely out, just how are the Bucs going to expect America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, to win the game with his arm? That is, unless, Jameis truly has turned the corner. He showed flashes of that last week in Washington. By the way, while Jameis has been impressive for a rookie the past couple of weeks, Joe sure would like to see him have a good game against a good team for a change. Today would be a nice start.
Nuggets: It is unclear at this typing if Jackson will play but usually, Jackson lights up Atlanta. In 2013, Jackson had 10-catch cames in both Dixie Chicks contests. … Jameis could extend his NFL rookie record today by throwing for 200 yards or more in a seventh consecutive game. … RB Bobby Rainey may have had his best game against Atlanta two years ago when he ran for 163 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown pass for good measure. No other Bucs running back has two rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown in the same game. … RB Doug Martin is second in the NFL with rushes of 10-yards or more (17), in rushes of 20-yards or more (seven) and third in forced missed tackles (24). … The Dixie Chicks are second in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game at 78.6. … Atlanta is third in the NFL in third-down conversions, converting 46.1 percent of third downs. … White is Atlanta’s franchise leader in touchdowns (63). … When Matty Ice throws for at least three touchdowns, the Dixie Chicks are 20-3.

I think we’ll be o.k. today as long as Atlanta doesn’t start their back up QB.

You guys ready for the start of the NFL season? They really do need to shorten this 10 game preseason. Some would say we are 2-4 but stats are misleading. Even after all that, I don’t think we are Atlanta ready.

OneLove got me thinking and I want this to be heard and sink in… EVERYONE said we tanked for the draft last year…. IF INDEED that is true… Should we really hold that against the coaches… I mean obviously we would if that is true and its a risky stradagy if it don’t work… However all indications are it did work… MASTERFULLY IN FACT…
Consider this…. Lovie, to all his cridics can’t adjust his style of coaching… Sure looks to me he has went from a defense first style coach to a offensive minded coach… Perhaps if people see the bigger picture vs what only they HOPE to see. People will start to see we are on the right track and the desired results are only a formality once EVERYTHING is fixed….
Sure seems to me in this day and age offence first is the best way to build a team!!!
Lovie gets that and has done an excellent job building that side of the ball seemingly over night!!!! Go figure!!! And before any of you Fans of Depression or Trolls rail against the obvious just remember!!!! Y’all are the ones BLAMING Lovie for everything….
Give credit where credit is due please… Lovie has adjusted to today’s game… More so than meets the eye!!!
You heard it hear first folks now stop HOPING AND BELIEVE!!!!
ITS
AS
Simple as that!!!
REALLY
IT
IS!!!

Today’s game is gonna tell us a lot about The Pride of Tampa Americas QB Famous Jamies Jaboo Win Some Winston!!!!
Not because we are playing the best team we have all year… Well that too but because he is gonna have to be super creative to get the ball to guys in situations for them to make plays…
I felt like Adam Get us Over The Hump Humpries and JW had good chemistry in the preason but Adam was not ready… He was close though, FAN DUEL players might want to consider him as a sleeper today!!!
Look for a shot or to deep middle to Dye as well… Should help soften the belly of the D and open up the lanes for The Musel Hamster and The Road Runner!!! Meep meep!!! Go BUCS can’t wait!!! Win or lose I’m gonna enjoy the game… Hope all you folks can do the same!!! Be the teeth man…. Win or lose we are in this together… DO YOUR PART to not be the problem…

hmmmm, you would think that some of the sheep (lovie loyalist) would want to see what this offense looks like against an average team first!!! 2 good/average games against 2 of the worst teams in NFL does not make that unit “fixed”!!!
Very interest how this team looks against teams during the next 6 games!!! and even more interest of talking about new Head coach candidates next week!!!
