“Buccaneers 23, Panthers 21”
October 2nd, 2015Smile, Bucs fans.
Joe’s got national love for what Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, has accomplished, and a victory prediction for Tampa Bay!
In the CBS video below, former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn joins prickly Pete Prisco and former Jets coach and personnel chief Pat Kirwan to break down Sunday’s Bucs-Panthers game.
Quinn, who follows the Bucs closely, believes the Bucs will win 23-21, on the backs of a balance offense and a depleted Panthers defense. Kirwan and Prisco think Quinn is nuts.
Kirwan, however, broke from his often grumpy demeanor, and proclaimed that Lovie Smith and Jason Licht should be “satisfied” with what Jameis has produced through three games. He’s impressed that Jameis has connected with 10 different Buccaneers targets and the body of work shows improvement.
Enjoy the video below.

If analyst pay was tied to them predicting wins and losses accurately I don’t think Quinn makes this pick
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:40 pm
Quinn picked the Bucs last week too…
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:46 pm
I was sitting at my desk about 30 feet away from the sound stage when he said that and almost fell out of my chair.

It’s my damn Bday this weekend and my friend (Panthers fan) and I are having our twice a year get together/loser picks up the tab lunch…Bucs get their first home win in the Lovie Smith era! I’m feeling a trap game for Carolina…2-2 and undefeated in the NFC South…have to keep hope alive!
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:46 pm
Quinn might keep picking the Bucs to win until he gets it right. He can ride that right pick for a long time.
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:48 pm
Happy B-day to you Toes. I hope your wish comes true.
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:48 pm
If the Bucs were up 23-21 with a minute left i would be willing to bet that a penalty or two and a key 3rd or 4th down conversion by the Panthers over the bucs d would result in a Panther win 24-23. the degenerate gamblers who piled on the panther lose but the Bucs end up 1-3; seems like that is par for the course with Tampa and then we’d get to hear the weekly spew of BS from lovie about “progress” and “turning the corner’…. Sam Wyche had “smoke and mirrors” but at leats he did get a 7-9 season before Malcolm showed him the door: Lovie probably will be lucky to get 7 wins before he gets fired and that is a reach as 5-11 might not be attainable this season under L&L….
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:50 pm
Toes… Thank your lucky stars you are not broke yet. Happy Birthday and I hope you get your friend to pay.
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:56 pm
This game should be a shootout. Jameis vs. Cam straight up.
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:57 pm
Toes Happy B-day brother.

All’s I can say is….If our Bucs truly.really..want to make big statement? Then beat the Panthers. Every week its the..injury spin or we are getting better spin. As a past season ticket holder, I gave up..sorta. So give us some hope Bucs. Finish the qtr 2-2. Lovie and Frazier’s Defense have got to show up this Sunday. If not, it gonna be a long day. Its that simple. You say you want to play 2 games away from Ray Jay yearly? Well..with your record the last 10 seasons? It might not be a bad idea to play..all of them away. Nobody loves a loser. And WE the Buc faithful are just a tad weary. Is anybody feeling me?
Win Sunday Bucs. I..dare you.
October 2nd, 2015 at 12:59 pm
I predict 21 – 18 Panthers. Yep, this is the week Lovie goes for 2.

Pete Prisco hates the Buccs…It’s nearly fact….
October 2nd, 2015 at 1:10 pm
Speaking for Pablo
“Pablo agrees with Quinn…..and if Quinn’s score is right….there might be 3 FGs from Brindza…..or 1 FG & 1 missed extra point…..or 7 field goals & a safety or 10 safeties and 1 field goal…..Pablo knows there are endless possibilities.
If the Bucs win, Pablo will give free table dances to all Buc fans with Jeff Garcia jerseys on”
October 2nd, 2015 at 1:10 pm
The hell with Pete Prisco. Go Bucs!
October 2nd, 2015 at 1:16 pm
I watched highlights from that December 1, 2012 win vs the Panthers and that team had so much promise. The Bucs were 6-4 after that game and its been downhill ever since. Hopefully this team can somehow gain some mental toughness and execute without stupid mistakes. This is a winnable game. I know Jameis can get it done, but will he get help this week?
October 2nd, 2015 at 1:20 pm
I’ve talked to Pete about the Bucs, he actually likes the talent they have, what he said to me was this…”it’s the coaching, Lovie is to nice to be a head coach”
October 2nd, 2015 at 1:22 pm
He probably said the same thing about Tony Dungy.

Thanks for the kind wishes guys…damnit I dont ask for much, but I’m asking the football gods for this Bucs victory Sunday. 2-2 and the team is right back in the NFC South hunt…plus beer/food paid for by a Panthers fan (on top of the sh!t talking I’ll do while intoxicated) is a wonderful thought.

Cue up the flying pigs.
October 2nd, 2015 at 2:18 pm
If our offensive line blocks well we will win
October 2nd, 2015 at 2:20 pm
This weekend is the weekend that the Buc’s offense is unleashed in its full fury.
Calling it now — Jameis is Offensive Player of the week.
:o)
October 2nd, 2015 at 3:34 pm
Panthers 34 Bucs 16 proove me wrong Bucs!
October 2nd, 2015 at 3:35 pm
We have the talent to win, IMO, but Lovie is so ‘soft’ that Idk if we can play with the fortitude necessary to win. ‘Niceguy’ coaches like Lovie & Dungy are in the wrong career field and will always struggle against stronger personalities, IMO. If Lovie’s ‘soft-as-a-twinkie filling’ persona continues to extend to his defensive playcalling and scheming, then we are destined for a bottom-5 D and an early draft pick.
Hopefully, everyone follows suit and plays with the same fire that our #1 leader Jameis plays with.
If our whole team did their job as well as Jameis did last week, we would definitely be 2-1.
Our 2 best players on the team at the moment are both rookies: Jameis & Kwon.

Happy birthday brother. I turn 40 on Wednesday the 7th. Let’s hope for a win.
Pants 50- bucs 21
October 2nd, 2015 at 5:47 pm
DB55…everything goes to shyte after 40. Stay healthy my friend, stay healthy.
October 2nd, 2015 at 6:20 pm
If McCoy is healthy, and the Hamster gains 100 yards, and we get a pick-6, yes, 23-21 could be possible. And if we can stop Cam from running on 3rd and long.
October 2nd, 2015 at 6:27 pm
I think the offense will show up on Sunday but the defense will prevent us from getting the win…sorry but that is just where we are at. Very average offense and extremely poor defense.

October 2nd, 2015 at 9:19 pm
Happy Birthday Toes! Downward run to 50 in March for me.
Hoping for a shootout 34-20 we win, would love us to try to score every time we have the ball. Even if we have a lead. I would love to have a 2 TD lead, and see what our D can do with that?
October 2nd, 2015 at 11:17 pm
hey people, the panthers are only favored by 3 points. I am happy as long as the bucs stay in a game. hate it when the game is over after only the 1st quarter like against the titans
October 2nd, 2015 at 11:34 pm
I am concerned that unless Winston and Evans have devised a way to keep the ball out of the hands of Josh Norman, this will not even be a close game.
October 3rd, 2015 at 12:53 am
If jameis plays as well as he did last week, we should be able to win. I gotta assume that evans wont drop another 5 balls. That was the only thing holding us down last week. Defense wasnt great, but 19 points in the NFL isn’t a lot. We should be able to score more than 21 every week. It might take some time to get the chemistry right, but im confident in this offense. Jameis is a stud.
