Jameis Is The Man

A BSPN talking head mocks the anti-Jameis crowd.

A BSPN talking head mocks the anti-Jameis crowd.

Joe discussed yesterday the crowd that hates America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston. Joe has dubbed these knuckledraggers the “anti-Jameis blowhards.”

Yesterday, Jameis shut up all of these blowhards save the stubborn, die-hard types.

It seems Skip Bayless of BSPN has choice words for the anti-Jameis blowhards in this BSPN video.

  1. Greg Schiano Says:

Jameis did play better this last Sunday and it was very good to see the Buc’s win a game again! Hopefully they can build on this and get better. It was very nice to see the team able to hold their heads up again!

  2. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

Any word from John Lynch today?

  3. Tom Edrington Says:

He made fast improvement from game 1, will certainly have his good and bad moments all season, would help him if Mike Evans could run but that’s another story.

The run game will sure help JW as witnessed yesterday.

  4. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

And Bayless is right. Mariota was awful yesterday. It’s a shame we let him sit back and complete those 5 yard dump offs against us a week ago…oh well, no need to dwell I suppose

  5. Buc1987 Says:

Before the season started I told everyone in here that Winston will have lots of wtf moments this season and lots of wow did you just see that moments.

    Nothing’s changed.

  6. Lord Cornelius Says:

He at least said at the end how it’s kind of a joke considering we only have 2 weeks of film to go off of.

    @Creamsicle

It’s just sad we didn’t have any adjustment to the offense they ran. I assumed Cleveland would take away those 1st reads and it appears that’s all they had to do.

Mariota may end up awesome. My best friend is a Titans fan and so I want both QBs to be good long term. But the idiots who were saying we picked the wrong QB have to hopefully feel a bit humbled at least today.

  7. Bucs Fan Since '76 Says:

Amen Skip! Joe – I was giving a running commentary on your open thread about MM and saw the same thing. MM is NOT ready for the NFL. He was so clueless, indecisive, and slow because he did not recognize the fronts or coverages. Why? Because he had never seen anything like it before. Wisenhunt protected him – as he did in week one, with slants and short checks that relied on YAC to move the ball. Whenever he dropped deep he was sacked or fumbled. His stats were inflated by Cleveland’s zones late to protect their insurmountable 21-0 lead. JW beat Drew Brees in the Superdome. MM got his ass kicked by your second favorite QB, the resurgent Johnny Football and it was glorious, and hilarious! Go Jaboo!

  8. ChanEpic Says:

Does anyone else find it more than a little ironic that Mr. Winston has more RUSHING TD’s than Mr. Mariota? I do and it is a very sweet irony at that.

  9. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

So true Cornelius — it was that damn read option playfake and the middle of the field was just wide open. All freaking day.

Cleveland took that first read away and the result was 7 sacks and 4 fumbles.

I have no shame in admitting that I’m rooting hard against Mariota, the same way I’m rooting hard against 31 other QBs in the league. But any objective observer who watched that TN vs CLE game yesterday came way seeing that all the criticism of Mariota pre-draft was valid and obvious.

One read, not there then panic sets in. Fumble prone and unable to quickly process an NFL defense. And I honestly thought the CLE D was going to kill that poor kid yesterday. If he doesn’t learn how to read defenses there is absolutely no way he makes it through the season without sustaining an injury

TN has the Colts next week and then the Bills. That Buffalo game could get nasty for Mariota

  10. Delson Says:

Ur site kills my battery with these back to back automatic ads joe. If i lower the volume im sure it doesnt fully solve the issue either because my battery gets hot.

  11. tickrdr Says:

Kudos to Jameis, Lovie and the coaching staff, and especially the defense for yesterday’s win. I have never seen Drew Brees throw the ball as poorly as yesterday.

    tickrdr

  12. ChanEpic Says:

Delson – I don’t know what platform you are on but you should invest your time in finding a good and appropriate ad blocker, I almost stopped coming to this site before I found one that works for me. Sorry Joe.

  13. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

As much as last week sucked for those of us that were at that game, think about how lucky we are

In 15 years we’ll be able to look back and say that we were there for Jameis’ only professional loss.

  14. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

You fooling yourself if you think someone can come from the Oregon offense and be able to read NFL defenses. It’s why RGIII is finish in this league, why Jake Locker is no longer around, why Blaine Gabbert is now a back up. Keep waitin on it. Chit won’t happen.

  15. So Cal X Bucs Fan Says:

Mariota was able to get in the endzone against the Browns, something Winston couldn’t do in preseason game.

  16. bucrightoff Says:

Skip Bayless still strongly believes RGIII is better than Andrew Luck, so take his opinion to be totally worthless.

  17. tdtb2015 Says:

    Wins-A-Ton baby!

8-8 is coming, if the defense keeps having players only meetings.

  18. Tampa Tony Says:

Mariota fumbled a lot in college, he was just lucky to not have lost many. Lost 2 fumbles against a competent defense and was sacked 7 times. Titans still play the Bills, pats, Dolphins, jets, Texans, Panthers and falcons. So he will have his share of rookie games.

I just want to see growth and progress from Jameis

  19. Leonard Scarnesi Says:

“Joe has dubbed these knuckledraggers the “anti-Jameis blowhards.”

    Wow, JOE is soooooooooo clever.

  20. Marlow Says:

Still not “America’s QB.” Stop the madness. 1 game a story does not tell. Now blow that hard!

“Mariota was able to get in the endzone against the Browns, something Winston couldn’t do in preseason game.”

That’s all you’ve got? A preseason game. A game that most fans think is pointless and meaningless. Apparently they mean something to you though.

  22. Posey99 Says:

This site has turned into “hey look at me you are wrong and I was right!” It’s childish and always has been. Calling people haters and blowhards is not only unprofessional it reflects poor journalism and you sound like a 15 year old kid on a keyboard. The defense absolutely won that game. I hope for Jameis to do well but don’t make him into something he isn’t yet. Acting like he had some spectacular game… Jacques Smith had a spectacular game, not Jameis.

  23. Buc1987 Says:

Posey99…keep digging in until week 17.

  24. Eric Says:

Jameis will keep working to get better.

Blowhards will keep blowing while reaching into a giant bag of cheese puffs.

    Go Jaboo.

  25. Posey99 Says:

Just calling it like it is. Spectacular, Jameis is the man, Jameis is a hall of famer… Um if any of the top 5 quarterback had the game Jameis just had they would not be bragging about their performance. It’s incouraging to me but in no way is it a sure sign of greatness. I hope to god it is but I’m being realistic

  26. BrianBucs Says:

Jameis has had one good game against a terrible defense and one horrible game against a decent defense. I don’t think it’s time to call Canton quite yet.

  27. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

I am not a Lovie supporter and still not….. but always behind jameis and know its going to be a long rookie year and that is fine, I can’t believe all the experst like lynch, etc were annointing mariotta some god….common sense and you know that its the NFL and mariotta wasn’t settingb the nfl on fire…….every DC in the league will lick their chops at playing a rookie except i guess lovie…..jameis will be good in the future

  28. BrianBucs Says:

    @ Creamsickle

    Lynch still right

  29. DefenseRules Says:

It amazes me that dozens of Bucs fans … And Joe … have lauded Jameis’ awesome game yesterday, yet none have said anything about the incredible job that Dirk Keotter did in creating and calling a much better gameplan yesterday than we had against the Titans. He did a MUCH better job of allowing our rookies to play against their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.

And yes Joe, that includes Jameis.

  30. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

Speaking of Koetter, was he being forced to run it by Lovie. I get the need to run the ball to run the clock. But, it wasn’t working. There has to be better ways to run the ball and still pick up some crucial first downs. The game got needlessly close.

  31. Buc1987 Says:

Posey99…the greatness has always been there. Long before he became a Buc. It’s not Joe’s, mine or anyone elses fault that you can’t see it yet.

I’m pretty sure that same logic holds for the same Chicken Littles who said he “wasn’t NFL ready”, and calling him “Byron Leftwich”, and saying “There was a franchise QB looking him[Lovie] in the face and he passed on him and chose the wrong one”, all after a total of 4 quarters of football played in his entire career.

    Sound familiar?

  33. Laughing Says:

We will see what happens when Winston goes against a real Defense..

  37. Bucs Fan #7423 Says:

As long as the O-Line blocks well Jameis will win

  38. Waly Says:

He played better than game one but 200 yards isn’t exactly the second coming of Joe Montana. I hope he never loses another game and becomes the best quarterback anyone has ever seen but don’t forget. Both he an Marcus Mariota completed their first professional pass to Titans.

  39. Bucs_Sam Says:

    HA!

Jamies implodes on day 1, The Joes say [Whatever, it’s only 1 game…]

Jamies has a solid 2nd game, and The Joes say [See haters!]

Wtach out for the bi-polar swing next week.

  40. Tiny Tim Says:

I can’t believe you guys are still arguing about whether Jameis will be good or not. I can’t believe there are some still crying for “I don’t care if I am the number one pick” Mariota. Its simple, those who bashed Winston before the draft for his “off the field issues” feel like idiots because this young man has come in and been the model citizen with acts of being first in the building and last to leave and his entire locker room loves him. He is a team first guy and takes the blame for anything that goes wrong on the field.

He has not been the cancer they claimed he would be and therefore they have to cling to something and point out his every imperfect move on the field. Not once does these so called “realist” who are also Mariota supporters point out the horrible day Mariota had yesterday. And these so called “buc fans” wonder why Joe calls Jameis America’s QB!!! Because you nitpick Winston’s every move and give Mariota a pass.

Please 1987, Eric and all of the Winston supporters from before the draft, please do not entertain these guys anymore. A lot of it is hatred, racist and just plain stupid at this point. And before you jump and scream bloody murder because I played the race card, please explain why in the hell you can not give a young man a chance who has shown much promise in the short time he has been here if its not racist? Do you see how he handles the media during the good and bad times? Like a seasoned veteran. What else can be keeping you from getting behind this QB? His teammates love him and want to follow him yet you can’t back your Qb and team because you wanted Mariota? Mariota has just as many faults as Jameis on the field and as we saw yesterday maybe more faults than Jameis. If it is not hatred, stupidity, and RACISM then what is it?

  41. Robert99 Says:

The defense lost last week and won this week. Would have been the same result with glennon. Grow up joe

  42. Skyline Crew Says:

I knew it wouldn’t be long before Joe posted something about Mariota. I do love coming to the Titan’s fan site. I guess you can say you have stumped a lot of people Joe in to actually believing there was anything about Bucs here. America’s QB had a pretty good game. Yes, he had 7 sacks, but that Oline was terrible. He still had better numbers than that Bucs QB. Those haters we call the anti-Mariota blowhards. They will come around though.

Does anyone know of a site that supports the Bucs vs talking about Mariota all the time?

  43. Robert99 Says:

Some of us blowhards never even busted on jaw last week. Who’s the blowhards now?

  44. Skyline Crew Says:

You know who else took a lot of sacks his first year playing a full season? Aaron Rodgers. He had a few 6 sack games and one 8 sack game in 2009. Man, good thing he was a bust.

  45. Buc1987 Says:

    Tiny Tim Says

“If it is not hatred, stupidity, and RACISM then what is it?”

Perhaps they refuse to believe that they were wrong and especially won’t admit to it this early in the season. Perhaps it all stems back to that allegation at FSU that he was cleared of numerous times. People made up their minds long ago that Jameis was guilty and they won’t ever let that go, not ever. Jameis could win his countersuit against this chick and she could come out and tell us all that she lied about it and it STILL might not matter.

  46. Skyline Crew Says:

Big Ben has taken a lot of sacks as well. Better write him off. Oh, and let’s not forget that Russel Wilson took 6 sacks last week. Terrible QB.

  47. Buc1987 Says:

Robert…you weren’t here. Not that you really matter or anything, but there was plenty of “the Bucs picked the wrong QB” on JBF last week. It was all over the place with this nonsense, bust this and bust that. Blah blah blah. It’s not like Joe’s making it up or something. It did happen.

  48. Buc1987 Says:

Skyline…this is really upsetting you huh?

  49. bucrightoff Says:

It’s two games into his career, and 45% of fans are sure he’s going to the HOF, and 45% sure he’s a megabust.

    —————————————

Robert99 if you were not one of the blowhards, then I commend you because there were many and I mean many on this site writing things like bust, we pick the wrong guy etc. Some of the names I had never seen before. And my question in my previous post was not just for the commenters on this board. When you listened to WDAE, you had many calling in saying the same thing ie we pick the wrong guy. Mariota goes out and lays an egg yesterday and none of them on the radio or on this board called Mariota a bust etc. Why the double standard? That seems awful racist to me? Please help me understand. Anybody????

  51. Buc1987 Says:

I wrote Mariota off when I saw the game against OSU.

That’s how long it’s been for me.

  52. Buc1987 Says:

Mariota goes out and lays an egg yesterday
    ____________________________________________________________

See this is the kind of idiocy that doesn’t help. Their numbers yesterday, statistically, are virtually identical. Slightly better completion for Jameis, slightly more yards for Mariota. But Mariota “laid an egg’, which by definition means that had the Bucs lost yesterday, Jameis would have “laid an egg”, which would have been a moronic statement.

  55. Buc1987 Says:

ColoradoBuc…NONE of that matters to them. He’s still going to be a bust in their shallow minds.

  56. Buc1987 Says:

bucrightoff…it’s not too moronic considering from what I was told Mariota’s stats came in garbage time. It was 21-0 most of the game. He did lose 2 fumbles to the other team.

  57. Skyline Crew Says:

87′ Nope, doesn’t bother me a bit. What bothers me is the amount of time this site has spent talking about Mariota. We didn’t draft him, yet there are probably more Mariota articles the past 2 wks than Jameis ones. This is a Bucs fan site. We lost to him, get over it. We are 1-1 in the division. The defense played a great game, let’s just hope they continue to. Jameis was a game manager at best in the game. Nothing to write home about. He still has a lot to prove and a lot of work still left to do in his game.

  58. Buc1987 Says:

Skyline…of course he has a lot more work to do. Every rookie in the NFL has a lot more work to do.

  59. Skyline Crew Says:

Exactly, so this talk of who was awesome and who is doomed is stupid.

  60. Skyline Crew Says:

Yes, I’m guilty from last week of doing, but I do it because I know I can get a rise out of some of the people on here. So in my sick demonic ways I get jollies out of that.

  61. BucTrooper Says:

Something just occurred to me: Mariota beat Winston, Johnny Manziel beat Mariota on the same week Mike Evans caught no passes and wasn’t targeted because he was injured and was faking his way through the game.

So how come the Winston haters aren’t saying we should have drafted Manziel?

  62. Buc1987 Says:

  65. Skyline Crew Says:

87′ it would probably help to end it by not posting articles about Mariota all the time like Joe does. Move on from week one. Sure there will be people that bring it up, but that is on both sides not just one.

  66. Skyline Crew Says:

BucTrooper, the only person to pine for Manziel was Joe. Everyone else knew he would suck.

  67. tiny tim Says:

Mariota actually fumbled four times, but one fumble didnt count because a delay of game negated the play. He also threw an int in the redzone which was negated due to a hands to the face penalty away from the ball. He also could have had a couple more ints if the defenders held on to the ball. Mariota was like 21-38 and showed he was severely confused at what the defense was doing. Unlike you, i saw the game and if you did, you would know he laid an egg. You seem to be the only one making idiotic statements. But you can go support mariota elsewhere.

  68. cmurda Says:

After week 1. I started questioning everything and overreacted to just about everything. I let me emotions get the best of me instead of trusting my gut and my brain. Man, we should have drafted Mariota. Dirk Koetter’s offense is vanilla. This is the same Bucs team as last year. We continue to get severely outcoached. Typical overreaction Monday. Then, I watched Winston blossom against the Saints. He didn’t throw for 300+ yds or 3+tds but he did everything well. The decision-making was spot on. Sure, a few rookie mistakes sprinkled in. Don’t be afraid to throw the ball away and live to fight another down or go down securing the football, but that comes with experience. The talent and the ability to overcome is there and that’s a huge upgrade over previous years. His leadership is there. His teammates respect him with a few already proclaiming that he is headed towards Canton. This is a big deal. The ride will be bumpy and long but this young man will lead us back to prominence.

  70. BrianBucs Says:

Crazy old 1987 is usually just a Jameis’ jock sniffing blubbering idiot, and even though he is in full defense mode on this post, he is 100% totally right and correct on what to expect from Jameis this year.
There will be really good games and really bad games, times where he looks all-pro and times where he looks like a high schooler, amazing TD passes and horrible interceptions. It’s all part of the NFL learning experience for a rookie

  71. Howard Cosell Says:

I was leary of Jamies coming out of FSU.
I was full-blown MGM in 2014 and even thought it would be a good idea
to have Glennon start the 2015 season and then transition to Winston.

    So far I’ve been wrong.
    Jameis is the man.
After seeing him play I’d take him any day over Glennon.
We just need to preach the gospel of defense, running game and great Oline
and make this work….and by “we” I mean the Buccaneers.

  75. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

Absolutely love the fact the anti-Winstons spend so much time on here washing themselves in disdain for him. The fact is, he is going to here many years. Even if he if he winds up being not great. Years. I would love to see how much time you spend on something that bothers you that you have no control over. The reality, you are still devoting your time to Jameis. Just what he wants.

    _____________________________________________________________

Except they didn’t. They were down 21-0 yes, but they got to 21-7 in the 3rd and had nearly 7 minutes left when it was 21-14. If not for some Johnny Magic, they would have had a chance to tie it up. Not like he got it all with 7 minutes or less left, it was mostly during meaningful play.

Now how do I know? Advantages of split screen Sunday Ticket

I just hope we stop obsessing over everything between these 2 QBs, we can hopefully focus on the many issues plaguing this team as opposed to some QB we’ll see every 4 years.

Compared to last week, Jameis looks solid, especially his footwork.
I admit I was concerned after week one but who wasnt? I never thought Winston was a bust though. Thats just stupid. But I was critical in my comparisons of him and marcus. Marcus looked great. He looked far more pri ready than Jameis. While I expected Jameis would improve, I did not expect Mariota to look like that in week two. Needless to say, my faith in this team is alot higher than it was a week ago.

  81. ChessMaster Says:

  82. Eric Says:

    Hey a crab leg joke.

    Brilliant.

  83. Dave Says:

JW is the man and the best QB prospect since Luck and the best QB the Bucks have drafted since Vinny and has waaaay more upside than Vinny.

  84. Skyline Crew Says:

Problem was though Johnny Football wasn’t good in that game. Take away the 50 and 60 yd TDs (man Benjamin can fly down the field), then he only had 62 yds of real play through 4 qtrs. He got lucky, which is what I guess you can call magic. Hell, McCown is probably going to start this week and not Johnny.

  85. Buc1987 Says:

“Now how do I know? Advantages of split screen Sunday Ticket”

I’m not the only one wondering about Mariota and Winston then.

This guy watched the Tennessee game too. He saw it just like Bayless saw it. You saw different on the split screen and that’s fine. I didn’t see it so I have to go by what people who saw the game have to say about the game.

Either way I’m pretty sure we’ll move on from this crap in the coming weeks. There will be much more to bitch and moan about next week. Hopefully a win at Houston to go to 2-1 and no bitching.

Marcus made a ton of mistakes, fumbled done, had ints, looked confused, and got sacked a bunch.
The point is if you just look at the stats the next day it didn’t look too bad and JW looked pedestrian.
Doesn’t matter. I like both and wish them both well.

The real response, though, should be WHATEVER.
JW is the Bucs QB. Get on board because the kid has the makings of a great.

I am glad he is making a believer out of me. Im glad I am glad Im another game closer to being proven wrong. Nothing would make me happier to have been wrong about Marriota being the better qb. Winston did what I was convinced post draft he would do….win games and ball out. Didnt get to see the browns titans game but sounds like Mariotta had a rough day. That makes me very happy!

  91. DallasBuc Says:

A few of us tried to point out last week that Mariota completed a bunch of very pedestrian <10 yard passes against a miserably unprepared Incompetent Lovie Smith defense. Mariota's stats were obscene but he didn't read any defenses, go through any progressions or make any NFL throws.
Now what I saw from Winston yesterday were some gorgeous NFL throws. I don't give a crap about Mariota. He plays for another team and we won't play him again for 4 more years. He has nothing to do with the Bucs anymore and I am tired of people talking about him as if he is relevant.

  92. Buc1987 Says:

DallasBuc…I’m sure it will fade as we get deeper into the season.

  93. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

    @Brian

Still waiting on whether you know you are a hypocrite or not.

I am already on record as saying he will have ups and downs. Bad games and good games. Not all that ground breaking a prediction. I just know you can’t predict deck off one game. Especially the first one. Shiz, you guys would have lit into Peyton and Luck after their first games. RGIII won rookie of the year. It takes a few years to see where they are.

But, by all means, please return to condemning people for making snap judgments of his success, while you do the same on his failure. Don’t let me stop you.

  94. Buc1987 Says:

    @Brian…I smell burnt toast.

  95. ben Says:

Winston will only be able to carry M.M. jock strap soon enough.

  96. Owlykat Says:

I mentioned last week that going back before Lovie the Buc’s for whatever reason often lose the first game of the season and even the year we won the Super Bowl we lost the first game and there was a chance the Buc’s would rebound the second game and as we now know it happened big time. Joe took some big time flap from some posters last week for supporting Jameis and last year he heard about it again for openly picking Johnny Football to promote, so when both of his first pick QBs finally showed what Joe saw in them, you really can’t blame him for saying I told you so! Joe knows Football, Folks!!! Let him enjoy it.

  97. StPeteBucsFan Says:

First!!! Being write or wrong on a sports blog does not cover you in glory or shame.

Secondly! It’s horribly inconsistent to say in one week…hey that it’s only one week and we’ll need an entire season to even begin comparing the two picks and probably a few years to judge their careers. So which is it? If Fameis sucks in Houston and MM plays lights out does that really change anything? What if the roles are reversed.

Some of you guys…I suspect you wear Garnett and Gold are waaaay tooo sensitive!!! Get over it. This will all play out and MM will be irrelevant…it’s all about Fameis now!!! What part of that are you not grasping. All the MM hate does is make you look very, very, insecure.

What part of winning can you not accept. The Bucs drafted Fameis!!! Fameis showed great improvement on Sunday and not only gave us a chance to win…WE DID WIN. But it’s never enough. No matter how Fameis plays many of you are still OBSESSING on Mariota.

I’m already on the record as believing that BOTH of these QB’s will have solid to great careers. I simply want Fameis to be good enough to lead us to the Super Bowl. I see enough promise in his ability to do that and so I’m very happy with our pick.

Let me ask you all a hypothetical. If MM got the Titans to the SB next year and Fameis does it the following year and then we finally meet in the SB isn’t that all we really care about. Winning a Super Bowl? Or is Fameis success not sweet unless MM fails? I truly do not understand some of you.

YOU FREAKING WON THE DRAFT DEBATE! How about showing a little class!
And no I don’t want to hear about the classless racists who were all over this site calling Fameis “thug” and all manner of insulting BS. That’s on them. We do not have to sink to their level.

Fameis played very well and improved in many areas!!! He is easily the most likeable athlete to play in Tampa history. He’s got charisma, a great smile, says all the right things. Just enjoy it and stop with the bitterness. I can guarantee you Fameis is not bitter!!! He’s a positive dude who doesn’t waste his time on that kind of manure.

Hypocrite? Is that your new Google word for the day? Too Funny!

Yes I wish the Bucs would have drafted Mariota if they insisted on drafting a QB. But they decided to pick Jameis, so being a devout Bucs fan since 1976 I support him and hope he does well. If that makes me a hypocrite then I am one 100%

  104. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Listen…..Jameis has been needlessly and even recklessly oversold to JBF readers for months…IMO

He had a rookie start on a team that played badly….and had a much better game this week…..only a fool would believe that he won’t have ups and downs….even Brees has a bad day once in a while.

Ease up…..no need to over-defend him either….let him progress…he will be find.

There is also no need to continually compare him to Mariota although I understand the temptation.

I have moved on from the draft (which I think was a good one)….so far, so good!!!

  105. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    He will be fine….

  106. Eric Says:

Man Andrew Luck looks like a big bucket of suck with a crappy oline.

  107. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

    @Brian

Yes, you got me. It must have been obvious that I simply stumbled upon the word hypocrite, just today. Good one.

No, what specifically makes you a hypocrite is calling people out for being over exuberant after a Jameis win (Canton), while after his first loss, you:

    Called him “Byron Leftwich”

    Said he “wasn’t NFL ready”

and “There was a franchise QB looking him[Lovie] in the face and he passed on him and chose the wrong one”

The reality you don’t know he’s Byron Leftwich anymore than someone else knows he will be in the Hall of Fame.

Now, I’m not a professional teacher, I can’t spell this out any clearer without, like illustrations or a map or something.

  108. Eric Says:

I suggest the Bucs send a charter up to Bessemer and fly her to all the games.

    He loves his granny.

  109. Buc1987 Says:

Careful now Brian is a true 76’er. There is 1000’s of them out there ya know. (sarcasm)

@Brian…I have no idea why you are wondering what Winston’s jock smells like, but in today’s America, I guess anything goes.

LWD torched you with his post and you come back with piddle paddle about supporting him 100%. Poser.

    ——————————————————

Not in my eyes. My point along is to let these guys grow. One week will not define either of these young men’s career. I was just wondering where are all the Mariota fans saying Winston is a bust, but yet are not saying anything about Mariota’s performance this week? I’m cool with Winston sucking next week because of the Watt factor. That won’t define his career because he will learn from it. Why? Because he is studying right now and will learn from the experience of playing against Watt on Sunday. Get on board all you so-called “buc fans.”

  111. dcommand Says:

Jameis looked a good to average veteran QB in his second game. Love to see what he looks like at the end of the season. He’ll have his UPS and downs but I don’t see any regression like previous QBs.

StPete great post but alot of that wisdom is wasted since a majority here are just interested in trolling (joe included).

Sorry to confuse you, but everybody on here knows that you have always been the JBF Winston jock sniffer’

And as far as LAWD goes, I have to dumb down my posts for him as I really don’t think that he knows that much about NFL football

  114. BrianBucs Says:

Then why don’t you get out your paper and crayons and draw it up for us?

  115. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

You clearly have no valid response, as you know that I correctly called you out. Whether you admit it or not.

  116. BrianBucs Says:

Called me out for what? Telling it like it is? Come on teacher, you can do better than that

  117. Love and Warrick Dunn Says:

  118. Caleb Says:

Why is it that there is a constant debate about JW and MM. Wait… Ok maybe that’s a stupid question, but seriously, game by game you all talk about who’s better. Just give it a rest already. The team won and guess what…? JW wasn’t the only reason for that happening. It’s a team game and our team won, so be happy. I just don’t understand why most have to argue about stupid things like which QB is better. Look they’ll probably both turn out doing fine in the NFL. Let’s focus on what’s more important here, that’s that our team won simple as that.

  119. Joe Cool Says:

    Go Bucs.
