Preseason Game 4
Bucs at Dolphins
Kickoff: 7 p.m.
TV: WFLA-TV Channel 8. For the DVR-challenged/truly sick, the game will be rebroadcast on NFL Network Friday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 7 a.m.
Radio: Buccaneers Radio Network (WDAE-AM 620 and WFUS-FM 103.5 in Tampa-St.Petersburg region); SiriusXM Channel 829.
Weather: Per AccuWeather.com, the daily Florida rains will hit Joe Robbie Stadium right at kickoff. Hot and muggy in the high-80s prior to kickoff, the thunderstorms pounce as the game begins but should be gone within an hour. Temperatures will only slip slightly to 80 degrees near halftime. At the end of the game, look for partly cloudy skies and 81 degrees.
Odds: Per FootballLocks.com, Dolphins -4.
Outlook: Joe is not fond of preseason games but covers them because it is his job. But the fourth preseason game? It is painful to watch. For example, the quarterback who will likely get at least half the snaps, Seth Lobato, may not even make the practice squad. Pardon Joe if, between plays, he has his eye on his second TV watching Michigan at Utah. Of course, in a twisted way, there are reasons to watch.: Will Garrett Gilkey show enough to make the final-53? How about fan favorite Luke Stocker (Joe believes, yes) or jilted defensive tackle Da’Quan Bowers? Will one of the Milk Cartons show up and, if so, can he play well enough to keep around? And can Mike James prove his worth in order to remain with the team? He’s certainly a bubble guy. Naturally, there’s battle for the fourth and fifth wide receiver slot.
The rest of these guys? You can say hi to them for Joe when you next renew your auto insurance.

I am a little sad that the preseason is coming to a close….now the losses will count!! 😉 On a different note, I thought fabulouso was latin american floor cleanser until I saw this picture. What a hottie!!!

Interview today with Miami media said he’ll be cut after this game.
I feel for the guy, but if you can’t produce, you shouldn’t be playing.
And this, my friends, is my last post until after the game. I won’t be using the website during games because of the open thread moving to the message board. Ironically, I’ve been reading complaint about the boards all week.

I’ve registered and when I enter the message board I see SPBF but I do not see where you’re supposed to actually type.
I’m counting on you guys tonight. I’m getting GB vs N.O. on our local Marquette channel…Michigan’s UP is all Green Bay Pack faithful and I mean FAITHFUL. The folks up here take their Pack seriously.
NFL Net has Philly-Jets so I’m only getting score updates at the bottom of the screen. 7-0 and a Glennon TD? I can see where this is going. A QB controversy? The return of the MGM?
I’ll check out the message board guys. Keep me posted. I’d hate to miss a game of 3rd and 4th stringers. (snark font off)

I don’t see the usual “official” gameday thread, typically started by a moderator.
I think you need to go to the very bottom of the page where it has a red message saying “write something”. putting the cursor in that spot should allow you to post.

Our OLine talent is the worst. Every run play ends with our lineman standing up behind the ball. Amazing! Absolutely zero push.

I wish I had followed your advice last week. I could have watched the Cleveland and Miami games. Then again I’m not sure I really missed anything.
I’m calling Direct tomorrow to CONFIRM my Sunday ticket! I paid for it but I’m growing paranoid when it comes to technology.

We need O line. And as much as I’d hate to do it, if we can find a trade for Glennon and we can acquire Connor Shaw from Cleveland, then I’d be good.
Think about it, WE NEED O LINE!! And they’re already shopping. Plus I’d love to see Glennon get a chance as a starter. Im one of the first MG8 Mob members.
