There’s plenty of speed on this young Buccaneers defense, and it’s evidenced in this video from today’s training camp practice at One Buc Palace.
Man, Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, would have been creamed here.
The delayed blitzer darting through is defensive end George Johnson from the left side. Joe will reserve comment on Garrett Gilkey literally watching him run right by.
Joe can’t recall the Bucs defense giving this kind of look last year. It’s among several new wrinkles that have appeared with a goal of burying quarterbacks.

That was HORRIBLE on Gilkey’s part….Absolutely left Marpet out to dry on that side. What REALLY REALLY is scaring me, is the thought of #3 playing “extra time” in the preseason behind SH!T LIKE THAT^^^ “extra time” without his starting O line in front of him and might not even make the season opener.
