Gerald McCoy offered a glimpse into his preparation.
Sure, the Bucs’ offense is breaking its collective butt to find an identity with a new offensive coordinator, a new system and a 21-year-old rookie quarterback.
But life is different among the guys wearing the red training camp jerseys.
Those are the members of the Bucs defense, and Joe’s talked Tennessee Titans with a handful of them. For those emerging from a deep hibernation, Tampa Bay opens the regular season at home against Tennessee and Marcus Mariota on Sept. 13.
The Titans have a decent offensive line, and Joe asked Gerald McCoy when he’ll begin — or began — studying the intricacies of those opponents.
“When the schedule was released,” McCoy said Thursday. “That’s when you start studying. You can never start too early.”
Now that’s the right answer, and one that should fire up any Buccaneers fan.
But It’s not the answer Joe got from every defensive player. No, not every guy is firing up his iPad or Surface to watch game film when the schedule comes out in April. And that’s ok.

John McNulty is the Titans QB Coach,Jameis Winston will be more advanced as a passer this season than Marioita. I think the Bucs defense will frustrate Mariota, and Jameis will have his way with the Titans Defense.The Bucs will win this game and go on and have a good season.

You know what Jody – why don’t you enlighten us with some further explanation for your comment:
“Winston sucked in college” – care to explain that further? Maybe some stats to back it up? INTs, sure did last year – lost one game. What college quarterback was better? Mariota – because he can scramble? RJ3 is a better athlete with a much better arm – and how’s he dong? Keep in mind that college speed doesn’t mean jack in the NFL. Oh and your QB might want to be able to read a defense, because that’s kind of important.
So what is it Jody? Why the hate for Winston? Please share…

I wrote the same thing last night but didn’t post it. Re: Neutral party holding the cash and info. This- I posted my info yet it is nowhere to be found crap doesn’t cut it for me. Until she agrees to exchange info and give cash to a neutral party it’s all just sh1t talk. I have my cash ready and will give it to Owley, StPeteBF, Nate or Lakeland someone who has been around and can trust. Otherwise it’s not on because I will pay if I (unlikely) lose and I can’t say the same for Jody.
