Glazer: Indoor Facility Is Coming
August 2nd, 2015What Bucs fans have been clamoring for a whole 30 days or so is on its way.
And that news is coming straight from the top, from none other than Bucs co-chairman Bryan Glazer.
Speaking to the Tampa Bay pen and mic club before Bucs training camp practice today at One Buc Palace, Glazer was asked about a possible indoor practice facility. Glazer said the plans are being drawn up.
“We are actually working on that right now,” Glazer said. “The architects are drawing it up. It is a work in progress. It’s going to happen. As soon as we get the drawings all done we will give you further details. But that is actually happening.”
Glazer wouldn’t give a specific timetable when the team can expect the facility completed. Glazer admitted in a perfect world it would be ready for next season but confessed that may be a premature expectation.
The facility would be built on the grounds of One Buc Palace.

Can somebody help me! This website, for me, is very hard to navigate. Every time I click on “read more”, my picture freezes and will stay that way every time. This is strange because I have no trouble navigating any other website on the web.

I wonder if that is a public or private facility that is in the works.

Thank Jameis!

Given that it will be on the grounds of One Buc Palace, private.

Do the BUCS even have an Artificial Turf secondary Practice field?
I assume not since they bussed on over to USF the other night.
I don’t know about any other Hillsborough County residents
but I wonder if the BUCS and the County Commission can tap into that Half cent tax that helped build the CITS (Community Investment Tax Stadium) and do some renovations to give the Home Team and Fans some more bang. The Scoreboards are a Joke and that field looks like crap when December rolls around.
The Sombrero was world renown as the best surface and this field consistently rivals the local playground sand lot. Whose injury is it going to take to make somebody put some serious budget to this?

Jameis asks and he receives. That’s what a leader does!

Long overdue but happy to hear they are already getting it done.
