The latest on Mike Evans’ condition is revealed
Joe was worried last week when Bucs stud wide receiver Mike Evans, on a crossing route from the right, “tweaked” a right hamstring as an offering from Mike Glennon bounced off Evans’ hands.
Joe audibly heard Evans grunt and thought it was frustration from not hauling in a well-thrown pass. Then Joe noticed him limping. Uh, oh.
After practice, Evans was sighted jogging off the practice field, so Joe didn’t think it was much of an injury. And it wasn’t, reports Buccaneers.com multimedia maven Scott Smith.
WR Mike Evans, who left last Thursday’s practice with a “tweak” of his right hamstring, was back in action in today’s OTA practice.

Look, it was May when the tweak happened. The regular season is some 15 weeks away. Yes, Evans blew his hammy last year in OTAs and was hobbled for several weeks.
As Lovie asked rhetorically last week about Evans when questioned about last year’s hammy injury, “How’d he do last year?”
