Bucs CB Alterraun Verner discusses how he has been won over by “America’s Quarterback.”
Now Joe is not wont to give much credit to the four-letter because, well, they rarely give Joe a chance because most of their content is a step above pap.
Not so with the following video.
Josina Anderson talked with defenders on the Bucs to get their feedback as to how “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, is adapting to the team and the NFL.
Interestingly, veterans like Alterraun Verner have embraced Jameis. Verner thought he was just some cocky, selfish brat until he and the defense met Jameis and saw his work ethic in practice (and his obvious talent), and how he bonded with his new teammates.

Don’t believe in all this stuff yet. Sounds good, but as we all know OTA’s sounded great last year too. I like when we signed Verner, but I hope to see him back to pro bowl form.

Lovie’s defenses make all Quarterbacks Look Good and Improve. Hell Lovie’s Defense made legends out of backups and starters alike last year. .

Holy crap. This is not new. Anybody that paid attention to Winston in college regarding on the field matters knows the type of teammate he is and the effort he puts forth every single day.

This defense will be far superior to that so-call defense we had last year early in the season.Most of the trash is gone and there will be a lot of new faces on this defense come opening day. So people can’t quit shouting that negetivity about last year defense, because this is a new day and a new team with new players on offense and defense. You Bucs haters quit talking about the past (the past is dead) and focus on the present and the future. GO BUCS
