Bucs Give Jameis A Wilder Surrounding
June 6th, 2015Those who believe Jameis Winston needs a babysitter — and the Bucs were determined to have a babysitter-like influence for him — might want to look at who was told to spend a lot of time next to America’s Quarterback.
The subject came up in a recent mailbag with wily Buccaneers.com veteran Scott Smith and sassy newcomer Casey Phillips.
A Bucs fan asked whose lockers are next to Jameis’ at One Buc Palace.
The answer will surprise many. Jameis is on an end, Smith explained, so he’s unflanked on one side. Next to him on the other side is No. 6, undrafted rookie tryout punter Andrew Wilder. (You can watch the mailbag video below.)
Is this a mistake by the Buccaneers? Should Jameis be surrounded by barbecue-yearning Logan Mankins and Vincent Jackson, or Gerald McCoy and Mike Glennon?
Maybe that’s a good idea. But it’s safe to say the Bucs find babsitting concerns for Jameis completely absurd.

I really like Scott Smith, really I do. But I am so sick and tired of watching Casey Phillips kiss his little ass, on each and every video the 2 of them make.
Scott Smith, we all know who you are, and we don’t need Casey Phillips to remind us of it, on each and every video 🙁
