How was the mood at One Buc Palace last night?
Jason Licht mentioned the draft party the Bucs held at the Den of Depression, saying, in a not-so-veiled reference to how he wanted to celebrate the draft choice of Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, “I’ve heard that there’s a lot of people over there at the stadium,” Licht said. “Heard that’s a pretty good crowd, they’re pretty excited – I wish I was over there. I really wish I was over there right now.”
Yes, the fans were jumping for Jameis. And in this TBO.com video, Olivia Stacey talks to Bucs fans about their new franchise quarterback.
One fan summed it up perfectly in a few words, “Off the field, I think he needs a chaperon. But other than that, right choice.”

Already off to a great start, apparently that “harmless” pic that Jameis Jailbird posted with the crab legs rubbed bucs officials the wrong way and made him delete it. Good to know Jababooboo is off to a great start.

Was there last night with my son – great turn out and crowd seemed very supportive and fired up about Jameis – lots of FSU gear. Was on the field and got the crowds reaction to the pick on video. Might upload later.

I was at RayJay last night. There were more Buc fans there than on game days. And…..no Steeler jerseys in evidence.
