Bucs Get A Versatile WR
May 2nd, 2015If new Bucs wide receiver Kenny Bell doesn’t see the field much, he can brag about having the best ‘fro in the NFL.
The Nebraska WR (181 catches in four seasons), a former teammate of Lavonte David, was the Bucs’ fifth round pick this afternoon.
Bell is versatile. He’s quick and he can return kicks. And he has better hands than Robert Herron, that is for sure.
The Bucs were looking for a speedy guy to stretch the field to complement the trees like Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
Bell could develop into that guy.

Wow, the picks this year are much better than last year. All BPO on a team need basis! Love it. The 2015 season and the future is looking brighter!

LOVE THIS PICK!!! This guy is really good. A bit raw but super talented. Not so much a slot receiver, but just another weapon to get the ball to.

AFRO THUNDER!
Awesome pick. This is not a flashy draft with many big names with the exception of Jameis, but this is an exceptional draft for what the Bucs needed.

Um.. Don’t think they reached on any of their picks. Because you said they did? Did you set their board and determine their target rounds? Dork…

LOVE this pick! This guy was a double major, worked as a bartender to pay for his bills on top of everything. Hope he keeps up his work ethic and helps us REALLY stretch the field and open up those running lanes!

I have liked Kenny Bell for a looong time.

The only thing hotter and more spectacular than the way this draft is going is that HOT Blonde in the day 3 open thread.
Oh my God. We’re hitting on all cylinders!
And if DE Anthony Chickillo and punter Spencer Roth are still there for us…..Man, we’re moving up!

Has to be better than the kick returners we have now. Will start on special teams for sure. He can learn from VJax and step in when he decides to retire.
