Listen To Jameis Winston
April 30th, 2015New Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston took moments out of his busy, busy night to talk to the Tampa Bay pen and mic club about this historic day for the Buccaneers franchise.
In the audio below, Winston talks about all sorts of things. Joe’s highlight is how Jameis erupted in glee about the luxury of throwing to Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. Enjoy.

Now that we bagged our QB, its time to get some O line help in the second round. There are at least 2 good tackles left- Jake Fisher, and Donovan Smith, and there are also a couple of good guards still available. Pick the best one out of the group and get the protection that Winston needs.

Man, It’s hilarious that I can recognize almost all of the reporters’ voices. Ha! I’m pumped about the pick. Thanks for all the coverage, Joes.

The pick of Winston was also signaled by the fact we kept MG8. Any offense they install for JW will be a prefect fit for MG8 as well, that would not have been the case if Mariota had been the pick. I wish our new QB well and maybe we will see them square off when we play the TItans.

Its like dating a hooker…. it’s not IF it’s WHEN…. Oh well guess I have sit back and wait, meantime I hope the Baby boy can wake up and act like a man a serious MAN not a boy!!!!

Love how people on here say “just because you got the QB you wanted doesn’t mean you were right”. lol. These Mariota guys are annoying as hell. It’s not that we got the QB that we wanted, Its that we got the QB that we knew we were going to get all along. Then when you tried to explain to these guys why the pick was going to be Winston before the draft, they would INSIST even more about how Mariota was going to be the pick. Honestly, it was such a slam dunk that the pick didn’t even resonate with me once it was made. It was just confirmation is all.

Did you know Jameis Winston threw 18 INT’s (last season)?
Did you know Mariotta threw 8 incomplete passes on 4th down (last season)?
Have you thought about how those statistics “project” to the next level?

Bill – Did you know Winston won every game in college except one? Did you know his team mates and former coaches Love him? Did you know that his team mates say is the best leader they ever played with. Did you know he has a tendency to fight to win until the very last second? Have YOU thought about how THOSE qualities will translate to the next level!

We’ll see what happens… It’s all on him to GROW up. His issues happened after winning the National Championship one would think, “hey maybe I need to grow and be accountable” , I really have a hard time listening to ANY of these kids say “it’s all behind me” blah blah blah. Actions are louder than words… All I care about is consistency with my team that I love and support!
And none of your words or jabs concern me, cause I’m not a sheep that just follows the crowd, I’m always on guard based on a person’s past actions on and off field not their comments or confessions.
