For all the people that want Lovie gone, just think about this. What are the chances that Lovie gets a Franchise QB and hire a great OC? if either one does not work out Lovie is done! the odds are not in his favor.
Buc Realist absolutely yes. I’ve been harping on this on the PR message boards for weeks. The Glazers have a unique opportunity to marry HC, to OC, to franchise QB. The sales pitch writes itself: come to Tampa where we have the #1 pick and tons of cap flexibility. It may work, it may not, but so few teams get this opportunity that I believe they have to try. Instead ownership has opted to essentially piss into the wind. What respectable offensive specialist is gonna come here knowing Lovie is on a hot seat? I wouldn’t want this job knowing there is a high likelihood that I’m looking for a new job in less than a yr.
I cannot believe people have any confidence in a head coach that has the worst record in the NFL.
lovie got rid of an average O-LINE for the current line that is the joke of the entire NFL.
it took almost the entire season for the defensive backfield to figure out how to play the cover 2.
lovie and his staff will probably trade the #1 overall pick and get the 29th pick and a 7th rounder in return.
or lovie will draft a kicker with the #1 pick.
maybe he will trade the #1 pick for a QB that was cut from a community college.
I would rather have Raheem morris than lovie!

That’s why the Captains Glazer should have cut bait Monday.
I was excited at first, seemed like for the first time ion a long time we had an adult running the show at one buc but now I understand what the Bear’s fans were saying for so long.
This fan is confident that L&L are going to make the correct moves in free agency.
The draft I have no idea about, we have 2 very good QBs it seems but I have no idea who else is out there. Is there a cornerstone OL? A guy that may not drive us down the field for that game winning td but a guy that can block for our RB talent and keep our QB safe for years to come.
Joe, can you do an article about potential draft guys we can look at? Maybe include a couple of qbs lower on the radar?
The first real good thing I have seen in a while from lovie just happened = setting guys in the 2nd half of game 16 so we could get the number one pick and that almost did not work, If that was lovies Idea than good for him, now lets see how the offseason goes = OC, QB and Oline..
100% Confidence in Lovie. He did the best he could with the cards he was dealt. I will give him a pass for this season. Next year we will hopefully go 7-9 and the the next year make the playoffs. It is a slow process folks. Takes time for things to mesh.
I’m still amazed that Joe is able to find posters casting votes for totally confident and very confident for a coach leading a 4-12 team to 2-14 after adding his hand picked “upgrades”. Even confident seems highly optimistic, but at least not as out in left field as the other two. As for me it’s the same little confidence as always. Doubting he breaks Schiano’s 2 season win total which means Lovie probably is gone.
Apparently, most of you, are ignorant, know-nothing blow hards. We were not under-achieving blow-hards. We are rebuilding. They couldn’t say it. Accept it.
Lovie is the rebuilding plan. Accept it and move on.
how could anybody have a shred of confidence of someone that literally contradicts his own words in the same sentence….NEVER under any circumstances hire a conservative mind to lead….

Totally confident.

I wish he were the HC of the Falcons or Saints so we could go ahead and chalk up at least those 2 games as wins in advance!

Senior Bowl would of been nice…………….

Im confident Lovie will be gone after next season. I’m not so confident I can stomach another awful season with him though.

What is there to be confident about? Lovie overseeing the draft decisions. Not so much.

Lovie did ok with our first round pick last year.

“Draft boards are already set”……even before the top 2 QB’s have declared.
Williams set, maybe?

Great!
Lovie get’s supreme credit for not tanking the 7th pick overall. Great!
To the Clueless Confident Clan, please describe all of Lovie’s other great accomplishments this season….
The pragmatic practitioners will be standing by for a good laugh…

Joe needs to be lovie the coach and one for lovie the gm. I like lovie the coach i don’t like lovie the gm
December 31st, 2014 at 3:48 pm
Lovie is so bad that an 100% increase in wins next year is only four. Any OC but the present one is a step up because nobody lost as much by as much.
The Bucs are not supposed to be a comedy of errors, but look at this year, has it ever been worse?
Get rid of Lovie and the Bucs will flourish, keep him and they will continue to be flushed down the toilet.

His willingness to admit that these free agents all sucked pushes him from none to little for me.
If Licht has more say over free agents this time around, then I’d even go up to a confident.

Lovie is a bafoon. I cant beleive how badly he ruined this team. We better at least fjnish 9-7 next year otherwise he just has to go.
