Terribly Undisciplined Offense

Hand the keys to George Warhop

The Bucs must most disorganized group of professionals on offense that Joe has seen since The Three Stooges pretended to be plumbers and wrecked a mansion.

Joe’s not a big numbers guy but sometimes numbers say it all. In this case, you will want to reach for a bottle of Jack Daniels to chug. The Bucs had a grand total of 26 yards rushing.. Twenty-freaking-six!

The Bucs also committed five penalties for 50 yards. That’s nearly twice as many yards coughed up on penalties than yards rushing.

That is flat out embarrassing!

If you give up double the amount of penalty yards as you do running the ball to a strong defensive team, you are begging for a beatdown.

Then there was the time Joe just wanted to start beating his head against the wall. With the Bucs trailing by just a touchdown at halftime, Tampa Bay had the ball first. Just before the first play from scrimmage in the second half, the Bucs had to call a timeout.

That alone is inexcusable. But at least call a freaking play that does something. Instead, the Bucs ran up the middle and then went three-and-out.

Unreal.

Throw in last week’s stunt — twice in a row the Bucs had 12 men on the field — and you know, it’s time to just turn the offense over to George Warhop the final three games of the season. At least he has experience as a coordinator on the professional level (London Monarchs).

It’s to the point of patting Marcus Arroyo on the back, handing him his parting gifts and if he wants to stick around as a ball boy, fine, or he can go to Kinkos and start printing resumes.

Any clue as to who else Lovie hung out in his basement with???? His turnstile of O coordinators in Chicago is going to be repeated here until the Glazers smarten up and fire his simple behind.

Blaming this crap sandwich on Arroyo is akin to blaming the Titanic disaster on the iceberg.

    LOVIE’S A BOOB!

  3. DallasBuc Says:

If you ask LovieDovie he will tell you that we are a running football team. That man is an idiot.

  4. DallasBuc Says:

How about we ask lapdog Licht what he thinks about his boy crush Charles Sims? 3rd rounder on that guy and Doug Martin sucks? This outfit is so terrible.

This upcoming offseason is going to shape the direction of this team for at least 10 years. Better personnel decisions and staff decisions have to be made. Can L&L do it? We’ll see. Nearly everything they’ve done has backfired, it’s been the perfect storm. Honestly, it’s probably what this team needed. A top 3 draft pick. Will they pick a star? Can they hire the right staff to make the most of the “talent” on this team? Can L&L learn from mistakes? Can Lovie adapt to modern times and put together an offense to score? I dunno. I think Lovie needs to be here for 3 years just for continuity but can he survive another season like this with the decisions he’s made? This team needs more talented players and coaches. Being a fan of this team is hard. I really hope they have a plan in place because watching this week in and week out is beyond rough.

A team is the reflection of their leader… Lovie Smith has been nothing but a mega disappointment and has shown he is only fools gold…. His divisions have brought this team to this point… This falls squarely on him…. 2-11, he doesn’t have what it takes to produce a winning Bucs team!

  7. OB Says:

Lovie is indeed the problem and you have to admit each week brings something that we have never seen before. The TV announcers said on McCown’s first two throws “the ball was nowhere near the receivers” like they were in awe that a QB could be that back, what made it worse was McCown shaking his head that he had to do better.

  8. lightningbuc Says:

    OB,

What makes it really bad is the announcer was Brady Quinn, who knows a thing or two about crappy QB playing. LOL!

  9. billy buckaroo Says:

We will probably win the award for this years offense team that went backwards the most

  10. Mike10 Says:

Ya I refuse to put any of this on Arroyo. I completely blame Lovie for not immediately pursuing another OC when the prospect arose of Tedford missing even a few games! …. even 4 games = 1/4 the season.

At least 2 fatal mistakes were made by Lovie coming into this season before the first ball was snapped:
    – winging it on the OL
    – winging it at OC

    Nice Headline.

Did you come up with the headline before the game?

  12. Architek Says:

No one really cares about this team anymore and barring drafting a qb early, no one will care next season.

Move this team and bid it to LA!!!

Garbage team and Baylor or TCU could beat this team’

  13. Buccfan37 Says:

The Bucs aint going anywhere but right here in TampaBay. If you want them moved, you are not a Bucs fan.

  14. tgreg Says:

Why do we keep hearing about Tedofr as if he had any NFL experience. We should all know that just because Lovie says he was great doesn’t make it so

  15. k1ngadroc Says:

doug martin picked up yards when he had the chance. Why do they insist on Sims running the rock? That Kid has some growing up to do and obviously so does our OC

  16. Fort Myers Dave Says:

I’m with Mike10 on the fact no one was brought in to assist after Tedford went on the shelf. I know Rah also went in house with Olson but that team went 3-13 so you thinkg the Glazers would have took a note from history and tried to get some help. Was it a $ issue? Was it simply too late? Did Tedford jerk them around a bit? I think Buc fans deserve an answer from ! Buc Place. But yeah, its time to ground Arroyo, the Bucs should have done it during the bye week. This reminds me of a budget run Culverhouse team in the ’80s not a 2014 NFL franchise with all the miscues & ineptitude. With Culverhouse it was all about being stingy, what is the Glazers’ excuse?

I think the Buccaneers are the only team have ever displayed “new” uniform changes and had a terrible season. Not only are the uniforms terrible but so is the team. Usually, when new uni’s are introduced with teams, good things happen. What a Joke. They both suck.
