Outlook: Joe understands the following may revolt a sect of Bucs fans. So for those praying for Jameis or working a rosary for Marcus Mariota, you may want to sit down. Joe actually thinks the Bucs can win this game. Yeah, seriously. Joe knows virtually every Bucs fan (those that want to win with glum, and those that want to lose with glee) pointed to Derek Anderson beating the Bucs in the season opener. Joe cannot make the apples-to-apples comparison. The Bucs defense was vastly different in that game, which was a one-score game. As Alterraun Verner told Joe this week, the defense was just getting used to all of their new teammates then. Since the bye, the Bucs are one of the better defenses in the NFL in many categories. This isn’t the same Bucs team Anderson will be facing, no sir. As with the Bucs, the key is offense, which just seems to get worse by the week. It is almost as if Bucs acting offensive coordinator Marus Arroyo knows he is gone in a few days and already has his U-Haul backed up and can’t wait to hit a beach in Central America by the time the season ends. If the Bucs win, clearly, they will need to score points. That hasn’t been all that easy of late. If the Bucs can score 24, even with the Stinking Panthers fighting for their playoff lives, Joe thinks the Bucs can pull off a road win. Yeah, really.

Our offense can score 24 points but 10 of those points will be for the Panthers defense. Our offense and not so special teams will not let our #1 pick slip away.

I live and breathe Bucs football…and yes every loss pains me!!! But I cant take it anymore! gatrbuc, what does one or two more wins accomplish? The birth of a winning culture? If Lovie doesnt draft a QB we will continue to have year after year of sub .500 football!!!
