Big disappointment with his game management. Why did he not call a time out on 4th & 1 and regroup the offense?
He should have hired a O/C to replace Tedford when he went out for the season. Not so much to design a new offense but to call plays. Araayoo is killing the Bucs! On another note a’bell cow’ can not run thru a brick wall.
Stuck on little confidence for weeks. Lovie, give me a hint, show me a sign to drive my confidence up to the confident level. Winning a home game over a favored opponent might do it.
When Lovie left McCown in the game and continued to try to run up the middle, it just proved he has no concept of what he is doing running a team, the return man finally was let go after another bad game, but the two runs up the middle with only one yard to gain broke the camels back. Almost every play again McCown went to less than five seconds on the play clock before getting the play off and then he didn’t know what to do and he left him in.
Still “confident” – just like every other poll – nothing has changed. It will take a couple good drafts but Lovie will have this team playing good solid football at some point. He stepped into a hell of a mess with this team and sometimes a step back is required in order to move forward. The benefit of that “step back” may well be a chance at drafting a potential franchise QB which we desperately need to help ensure that we will “relevant” again.

“the two runs up the middle with only one yard to gain broke the camels back”.
The way I see it OB (and I imagine coach Smith would concur) – if you can’t gain 1 yard running the ball on 2 tries (3 actually) – then you don’t deserve to win a football game – simple as that…
Where is all this confidence coming from? What has this bozo done since he was allowed to drive this clown car into a lake? Bucs fans are not intelligent, lack basic observation skills and strive for mediocrity…ie, Trash McCown.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding this poll. Are you asking if we’re confident that Lovie will win or turn things around this year or sometime in the next 5 years? If this year then zero confidence. If in 5 years then confident with a slight lean to little confidence.
In other words if we get to the playoffs in 2019 then cool but darn it took 5 years, wtf!

Where do you just FIND another OC to replace Tedford after the season has started? Do you just go in a laboratory and create him?
My opinion of Smith has not varied very much since the season started. This team is coming around, it’s had a few difficult circumstances and personnel foibles, but the D is playing well and in 7 of the 9 losses, the team had a shot to win in the 4th quarter, 6 of those games came down to the final drive. If we can add one player (a QB) to the offense that is worth an additional 8-10 points a game, we’d be looking at this season completely different. Hopefully, next season will be… and that’s what I have is hope. I had lost hope after the Schiano debacle. He had two seasons to prove he could do something he had never done before. The least we can do is give Smith the same amount of time to try to do something he has already been there and done… he has a track record of success. Is he perfect? Nobody is, but he deserves a chance to get this team righted.
