Bears Offense Is A Mess
November 19th, 2014If one didn’t know any better, it was as if Josh Freeman came out of his Salmon Rushdie cave and took over the Bears offense the way the Monsters of the Midway have imploded.
Of course, the main target of Bears fans is the erratic play of bratty Jay Cutler. The Bears quarterback always seems to be copping an attitude of some sort. That’s cool when things are going well, not when you are being outplayed by Josh McCown.
Michael C. Wright of BSPN Chicago documented just how the Bears opening drive last week against the Vikings had a Freeman-like implosion.
Although the Bears captured a much-needed win, it didn’t come without the club starting slow and making mistakes along the way. Chicago’s opening drive lasted 10 plays but was bogged down by penalties for illegal formation (Martellus Bennett), false start (Long) and unsportsmanlike conduct (bratty Jay Cutler) as the possession ended at Minnesota’s 29 with Robbie Gould missing a 47-yard field goal wide right.
Interestingly, the Bears didn’t commit a penalty on their second possession, which Cutler capped with a 27-yard touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery.
It seems the Bears play about as well as Cutler plays. Given his ups and downs and how he cops attitudes with teammates and coaches, it is no surprise that Bears fans are about fed up with Cutler. At times he can be Aaron Rodgers-like. Other times, Geno Smith.
One doesn’t know which Cutler will show up. For Bucs fans and Lovie Smith (former Bears coach), it might be a good thing if the Cutler who shows up Sunday is the guy who plays like Mark Sanchez.

ESPN the magazine did a bunch of QBs as album covers. That’s where that comes from. Remember the Josh Freeman as Michael Jackson picture? Same series of pictures.

Love the pic of Cutler sporting the 60s John Lennon Beatle-cut…….and look, he’s a cat-guy, no wonder they have problems up there…..!!

That picture makes the one of Freeman look really cool. That should be put up in Cutler’s locker on a daily basis by his teammates. For like the rest of his career.

Looks more like a possum to me. We all know that Jay can pull some possum!

Even though that’s one really creepy pic, Freeman’s was worse. How is that possible?

We will either show our defense as good getting better or that it is bad and can play good once, every five games, good. I do have hope for the DL because the sacks were spread across the line.
I don’t know how cold it will be and if it effect the QB and receivers gripping the ball, but it works both ways and I believe that VJax, ME13, and ASJ have a shot if the OL line holds.

This is a dangerous team to play this week.
When Cutler is on his game the bears can play with anyone.
When he is off his game (for whatever reason) he can bring this whole team down to looking awful.
He doesnt have much in between
very hot or very cold

VJax and Evans are very similar to Marshall and Jeffery. Both defenses are suspect. It could be interesting on Sunday. Hopefully Cutler has one of his meltdown games.

What’s really gonna suck is when Jay is the Bucs starting QB next year…

I don’t know if he always has an attitude or just has a resting bitch face.

What did Cutler do to get a personal foul last week?
I’ve always loved that picture. My wife competed at the Jay Cutler Bodybuilding Championships in Baltimore earlier this month and got a picture with the bodybuilder, Jay Cutler, which she posted on Facebook. I was more than happy to add in the pic above which I claimed was my favorite pic of Jay Cutler.

Because you have a deep hatred for Freeman, but we’re not going to get into what that possible reason is…

The Bears may be bad this season, but a least they pulled off a home win, advantage Bears.
