Bad News For Bucs Defense

November 21st, 2014

Bears WR Brandon Marshall and his WR teammate Alshon Jeffery are both listed as probable for Sunday’

One perplexing thing with the Bears is their offense is inconsistent despite having weapons all over the field. Take Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall. Damn near any team would drool to have those tall twins at receiver.

Both receivers, however, are dinged up but Bears coach Marc Trestman has listed both as probable for Sunday, documents Michael C. Wright of BSPN.com

The weather is supposed to be lousy Sunday along the shores of Lake Michigan. Kickoff temperature is forecast for high 40s with rain all day. Not exactly ideal to play in with a bum hamstring or ankle.

Soldier Field is notorious for crappy turf. If it is supposed to rain as much as predicted, then that field will quickly turn to muck. Good luck cutting in that quagmire with a bad angle or a gimpy hamstring.

No, bad news. They will likely play. Joe is not a Bears fan.

Our newly found pass rush on Cutler will make the difference

Bad new for the Bucs, they are not playing Washington this week!

Bad news. With that weather it further lends to doubt i have of LD54 playing. That turf, wet, bad hamy…not good.

  6. Berdj Rassam Says:

The Bucs have the 30th ranked defense in the NFL, how much worse can the news get for their defense?

  7. Fort Myers Dave Says:

Expected them to start, Bucs never get a break when it comes to other team’s players and injuries. Sloppy field ought to make stopping Forte from eating clock and gaining chunks of yards task #1 for the Bucs D. Hopefully the Bucs can do something on offense vs the Bears on the sloppy field as well.

He, who runs the ball, wins. Not good for the Bucs.

Especially tough to rush the passer, or throw the ball, on a nasty field. Usually the team that runs the best, wins.

I’ve heard a lot of people bash jay cutler this past week. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has one hell of a game. Don’t count him out. That guy can still play (unfortunately).

Weather conditions are going to be miserable with non stop rain, wind and temps in the 30’s. If our pass rush continues to improve in this game we have a fair shot at getting the win. Don’t think it will be a shootout .I really wish this would have been a Prime Time game. Both teams have been underwhelming this year but it’s got all of the right pieces to be a good game. Lovie vs. Tresman. McCown vs. Cutler. Evans, Jackson, Sefarian Jenkins vs. Marshal, Jeffery, and Bennett. Sims vs. Forte. In Chicago two years after Lovie was fired. I would love to see an upset here and see bears fans flip the city upside down!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad the weather is gonna be crappy but should be a bloodbath!!!
