Truth be known….L&L…were petrified at the thought of having to sit through the NFL 2015 Draft….with endless talk about the BUCS only having 3 PICKS….I’m not counting 6&7 th as much….L&L were desparate to get the BUCS on the clock !!!! DESPARATE men do desparate things….Jeff Fisher is going to unluck the abilities of Mark Barron….all evaluation had Barron as a 1st round pick…7th a bit high…but still an excellewnt player….Fisher > Smith
How can any move made by this clown show be trusted as a good football move after their expensive and putrid track record? If Belichek trades Barron you trust that maybe it was a good move. This bunch cannot be trusted to evaluate talent and make wise decisions. I have not felt so hopeless as a Bucs fan since the Culverhouse dark days. I’d be suprised if the Glazers aren’t seriously considering contingencies at this point.
Correct me if I am wrong, but we did not get 2 picks for Barron since we also gave the Rams a 7th round pick. So in reality we traded Barron for a 4th round pick and will likely move up around 20 spots for our final draft pick next year.
Voted no because I believe Barron was a victim of a poor scheme. 2012 and 2013 Barron was worth more than a 4 and 6…maybe not playing up to a #7 but better than what the Bucs got. My opinion anyway
I said yes because he was not helping for whatever the reason on defense. He maybe the best safety ever, but with the coaching and schemes we have had since he was drafted, it just didn’t work.
The more players they jettison, the less excuse they have for the play on the field.
Am I wrong but it seems to me that a lot, not all, of the players sent packing have done very well elsewhere?
@John, yes, we got a 4th rounder for him, and moved up maybe 10 spots to the end of the 6th from the 7th. For a 1st rounder! Who was only part way through his 3rd year learning a new system.
Pretty dumb in my opinion, but only time will tell.
@OB, yes, every player we trade lately seems to excel somewhere else.

I’m not sure. I guess I’m just waiting to see if he turns into a superstar out west.
