I’d kill for a mediocre line, are you kidding me? We have a unit that, based on yesterdays game where Glennon saw the most pressure any QB has in 5 years, is one of the worst in the last 5 years of NFL football. Mediocre would be a godsend.
Damn, I voted yes and then looked at the remaining schedule. This Vikings game after the bye looks the easiest to me. The rest all look like losses. Even the Falcons at Tampa, Ryan will have a field day. The way the Bucs are playing, the team may be one and done.
Being an optimist at heart I voted yes. Winning two more games seems doable even for this sorry group. If Lovie is any kind of head coach he should be able to will these sad sacks to show up against the Vikings and Browns. Might even sneak in a win against the Lions? The visiting team seems to do well in that series.
Hahah wow some people don’t watch much football. We’d be lucky to only lose 31-10 to the Browns. Browns are miles ahead of the Bucs right now. Welcome to the Lovie era.
Might get past the Vikes for win #2. Win #3 might come out of the blue like the Steeler win did, then perhaps get one on the road vs Washington or Cleveland and thats about it; 4-12 at best but more likely 3-13 or 2-14. Jesus it has not been this bad at 1 Buc Place since Leeman Bennett was the damn coach….. This team is bad and its not just the coaching, its cheap ownership and the virtual lack of depth and talent on the roster…..
Dallas Buc: the Bucs are probably better than Jacksonville and Oakland and are probably on the same level as the Titans, Deadskins and the Lambs. The Steelers were caught with their pants down by the Bucs, nine times out of 10 Pittsburgh would have won that game. The Bucs actually were the more talented team in week 2 vs the Lambs much like Pittsburgh was more talented than the Yucs on week 4; Lovie & Company were simply outcoached by Fischer and his boys and have been outcoached by everyone but the Steelers so far this season…
Remember Antonio Brown dropped a bomb TD that might have put the game away for Pittsburgh. Glad they won since it means 0-16 won’t happen but that was the definition of a fluke win (which is why going 0-16 is so difficult, you generally fall into a win at some point).
Skyline/Ft Meyers/Rick- after that massacre we witnessed yesterday isn’t it presumptuous and even a bit arrogant to argue that we are better than any other team? How can you say that with any level of confidence?
As I recall the Jags whipped us in the preseason. You can’t tell me that the team in the regular season is any different or better than the trash we saw in the preseason. Let’s stop with arrogance. It is uncalled for
Bortles might go 350 in the air 150 on the ground against this defense. Seriously yhe Bucs D is allowing QBs to complete passes now at almost 80%. Read that again and try not to have your head explode. Every time the opposing QB drops back, there is a 4/5 chance it’s complete. How do you win in any league, like the lowest of the low minor leagues, doing that? In the NFL? It’s amazing we avoided Cam in week 1 because we might have 3 humiliating blowouts this season instead of two.
NOW THIS IN ENTERTAINING !!!!!!! Much better then the last game. Are you really fighting over who is right about how bad the team is? HAHAHAHA !!!!!!! Never a dull moment here at JBF. GO BUCS !!!!!!!
I can say it because we have 1 win and they don’t. Not to hard to say it. Yes, we have the worst Defense in the NFL, but we don’t have the worst Offense and that means we always have a chance.
The one thing I know is that even though the Bucs look awful, they will find a way to screw up their draft position by getting some ill-advised wins. I thought they would win 6 games this year, which is still possible, but not looking too likely at all, but 3 wins, yes, they will find a way to get that done.
I said 0-6 after game one, before we go on the bye week. The ONLY hope this team has is to change the D-scheme(Lovie already said no) during the bye and surprise teams. 1-15 is very very possible. Lol Cincy on the road.. That could get real ugly… Wait til Packers fans have a home game a ray Jay. Lol Aaron Rodgers will not care and go for all the records he can. This team/franchise is atleast 5 yrs away from competing for the NFC title. Stay positive… Be patient… Lol shove it!

Someone please name 2 teams that we are better than? Name one?…

Mediocre QB, mediocre oline, overpaid/under-performing FAs. Sound familiar?

Nope, Glennon is still learning and getting better, and compared to the level of olay from his teammates, he looks like a star.
GMC, Lavonte David and Glennon are the only reasons to watch the games: 2 star players and a potential up and comer.

I think we are better than J’ville and the Steelers (we did beat them). Raiders? Maybe. I guess we will find out if we are better than the Skins.

Teddy Football will have a field day too. 1-15 is looking good.
October 13th, 2014 at 10:53 am
(Nearly) anything can happen in the NFL but the last six games sure look like losses.
So that leaves MIN & ATL at home, WAS & CLE on the road. Could they win two of those four? Maybe.
But with two beatdowns and two home losses to back-up QBs, it’s nearly impossible to hope for better than 4-12….if that.
October 13th, 2014 at 10:53 am
As long as Lovie is the coach, we will only win 2 games this year and probably 3 next yr.
October 13th, 2014 at 10:56 am
“We don’t expect our fans to be patient” -Jason Licht the PR machine.
We’d be patient and discount what Licht said if the games were actually close.
October 13th, 2014 at 10:56 am
oh btw I checked no…with confidence.

Will they win ~ANY~ more games this year?
When will the paper bags come out?

The Bucs will definitely win 3 games. Probably 4. There’s no one better in the NFL at screwing up their own draft position.

Sorry kids but thinking they will win one more game this season is pure fantasy and falls into wishful thinking category.

Well it is a good thing you are in Dallas then. You can jump on the Cowboys bandwagon. Later.
October 13th, 2014 at 3:11 pm

May as well just be a top 3 drafter…looks like CB is first, then O line, then some pass rush for the rest…..
October 13th, 2014 at 6:54 pm
The only other win is coming up vs. Minnesota.
If Lovie can’t come off a bye, at home, and beat a bad team with a rookie QB, then he has to go. Losing this game is inexcusable.
October 13th, 2014 at 10:01 pm
No QB, no RB, underperforming o-line and D… We’d have to get lucky, but I voted yes because I still believe in any given Sunday.
