Demar Dotson Betrayed

Some of Bucs RT Demar Dotson's family have the nerve to get free Saints tickets from him, and cheer against the Bucs.

Some of Bucs right tackle Demar Dotson’s family have the nerve to get free Saints tickets from him, and cheer against the Bucs.

Joe feels bad for Demar Dotson. He is being sold out.

The anchor of the right side of the Bucs’ offensive line, and the only O-line starter brought back from last year, Dotson in many ways looks forward to playing the Saints in New Orleans.

You see, Dotson is from Louisiana. So playing in the Big Easy is a chance to meet up with some kin.

But then, apparently, those same loving family members pull the rug out from under his feet, so Dotson explained to the “Custodian of Canton,” eye-RAH! Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune.

“It’s a loud crowd, they feed off that crowd and you can bet New Orleans is excited to get back home,” Dotson said of the Saints fans in the Superdome. “That crowd is so electric. I’ve got a lot of family and friends from New Orleans. I give them all these tickets and they’re cheering for the Saints.’’

That is just wrong! Nothing like folks using you for tickets, taking advantage of your generosity, then hoping you get beat. That is low, even worse for blood relatives to pull this stunt.

So these folks would rather have Dotson’s team, the Bucs, get beat and may be Dotson lose his gig and they lose their free ride for free tickets? Man.

It’s got to be a slow news day. Which is probably a good thing considering all the crap that was happening 2 short weeks ago.

    Welcome to the Big Easy.

At the bar that I’ll occasionally take a game in at there’s a big collection of saints fans that go there every weekend. Easily the most intolerable fans of any team I’ve encountered. The saints fans that were sitting near us at the Bucs saints game I went to in Tampa in 2009 didn’t do anything to suggest that these folks are an anomaly. They were equally obnoxious and disrespectful. There’s enthusiasm and then there’s a saints fan

They are pretty obnoxious. Kind of like New Orleans is the Philadelphia of the South. Which city in VA do you watch your games in?

can’t blame them for rooting for the home team. if we had more fans like that here , sellouts wouldn’t be an issue. what Dotson needs to do is simply stop footing the bill.

Most saints fans aren’t that bad. Hell half of them were cowboy fans a decade ago.

    @ Patrick in VA

Obviously, you’ve never been around an Eagles fan.
