What a helluva aafternoon huh?
TCU chokes away a 21-point fourth quarter lead and Baylor wins at the end. Mississippi State tries to give the game away early to Auburn but still wins. Texas dominates Oklahoma, except for special teams and defense and loses.
Not sure how we can top the afternoon games, but here come the Gators. Oh yeah, Penn State is up next in the Brady Hoke Goodbye Tour.

I know it’s not until 7 pm, but the game that intrigues me the most is the hometown USF Bulls hosting the East Carolina Pirates. ECU has a high powered offense, having lost by 10 at South Carolina, won by 7 at Virginia Tech, scored 70 in a win over North Carolina plus two other wins against lesser opponents. Their QB, Carden averages 400 yards passing and near 600 yards total of offense for the team per game. Can the Bulls hold that scoring down and make a game of it? I can’t wait.

I’m surprised these threads do not get much traffic, I was a college fan first amd believe thay the college atmosphere is far better than the NFL.

Andrew 1…if you come in here today. In light of all this new conduct rules crap going on at FSU towards Winston. I don’t see him staying another year now. If he survives expulsion and gets 3-4 games suspension, then I now think he’s out of there at the end of the season.
Last season I said he’s a pro playing college ball and he was only a redshirt freshman. I called him the Lebron James of football, he needs no college.
Immature? Yep, but I think he’s ready for the next level already.

I don’t think there is a team in sports that I hate more than the Auburn Tigers (Yankees are a close second). I would love to see Mississippi State tear them a new one.

Look Winston said after last year he plans to play for FSU for two more years. His dad has said the same thing as well as Jimbo. I doubt anything happens during the meeting except a strict warning. This is because the media keeps talking about it and New York Times wrote an article on FSU.

Auburn ranked #2, not any more. Looks like there will be a few 1 loss teams in the SEC because I’d be surprised if Miss St. can win later at Alabama.

If Winston would learn to behave like a normal human being, maybe “the media” would quit talking about “it.” Never mind the feds are all over FSU over Title IX. Guess that’s all the fault of “the media” and nothing to do with the chick’s lawyers, huh?
Pretty sure Winston is gone after this season. The new administration seems to run out of patience with his antics. Understandable.

The rape allegations, crab legs and yelling in the student union. It’s just that word “antics” seem like there’s a long list and it’s been going on for years.
I thought the chick’s lawyer said it’s not about money or anything awhile back. Now it seems it has a lot to do with money all of a sudden.
Either way I think both parties will be glad to be done with each other at the end of the season. I think Winston’s going to say the hell with all this BS. I also don’t think anyone will shy away from taking him in the draft at this moment. That could change though.

USF as a 15 1/2 point underdog at home leads 19th ranked ECU 17-7 at the half. ECU has hurt themselves with a bunch of big penalties. Carden of ECU will have to throw for 300 yards in the second half to reach his average. Hold on Bulls!

Miss State should be #1. Ole Miss will stay at 3 and FSU should move down to 2.
Alabama should move down for barely winning to an unranked team. KSU should move up more as well. They are on a roll.

USF going down to defeat. This team was not long ago an up and coming program. They seem to be improving and gaining back some respectability. ECU looks like a good opponent in the revamped AAC. They may be the best in that conference along with Cincinnati, maybe UCF. Who needs Pitt, Syracuse and Rutgers in the conference anyway? The Bulls will continue rebuilding the disaster of a mess left behind by Skip Holtz.

I am not sold on Dak Prescott just yet. LSU, T A&M, and Auburn are not known for their defenses, and the Bulldog’s D has done a good job of shutting down those other offenses to keep him in the game. Of course he hasn’t done bad, and he gains my respect just by taking down that abomination of an Auburn team and their hypocrite fans.

Gators settle for a FG to tie after 1st and goal at the LSU 2 yard line. LSU kicks 50 yard FG to win after picking off Driskel. Stick an U instead of the A in that Gator coach’s last name.

Not buying into coach Willie. Three man front, no other help to pressure the quarterback, brings in peep sqweek QB as change of pace which completely stalls offensive momentum and then stops running the ball … If peep sqweek is coach Willie’s idea of our next qb, we are screwed! USF is headed for absolute irrelevance at this pace. Quit spending money on uniforms, (what, are we trying to match Oregon), and spend it on a real coach!

If Winston didn’t learn after the rape fiasco to stay under the radar then he’s probably not going to. Whoever drafts him is putting their job on the line. I wouldn’t do it.
