Who’s jacked up for football season? Joe sure is. And it was fun to get back into the popular “JoeBucsFan Hour” this evening with the dean of Tampa Bay sports radio, Steve Duemig on WDAE-AM 620.
Miss the show? Well Joe dove into discussion about the value of guard play, life at One Buc Palace and early views of the mysterious Jeff Tedford offense.
Plenty of other subjects were on the docket, as well, including why Warren Sapp insists Gerald McCoy is better than him.

Hey Joe,
I live up in a Detroit suburb and the sports talk station I listen to (97.1) is making a very big deal over the fact that the Lions haven’t resigned Suh. I really haven’t seen any doom or gloom like it in Tampa concerning McCoy. Is there angst about him not resigning? I’d like to see a blog on the subject.
Joe can’t imagine why there would be angst. He’s signed for 2014. They can franchise him for 2015, if necessary. And the Bucs have cap room this year to make a deal if they can reach a pact. Big issue is the projected salary cap increase coming up thanks to massive TV cash. Joe imagines any good agent would want to work that into a contract. Regardless, this is nothing to sweat over. -Joe

Your talking ads are awful. Can’t even focus on the article. Sometimes I will have two or three going at once. Can’t listen to music while browsing, can’t watch any of your linked videos without a bunch of ads talking over it. Never mind the redirection ad that falsely tells me my computer is out of date and to download their garbage. Go ahead and sensor my post now telling me you appreciate the feedback when you really don’t give a spit. Way to go.

I read this site, Buccaneers.com and PewterReport.com. This site (JoeBucsFan.com) has way more articles and information than the former two sites mentioned. JoeBucsFan posts 4-5 articles to their 1 typically. Joe knows his Bucs football and as a fan he has insight that I relate to, even if sometimes my opinions may differ slightly. I’m 29 years old and have been a Bucs fan since my family moved to the Bay Area from Michigan in 1990. In that 24 year span I have read many articles written by the media, I believe Joe is the most knowledgable and informative blogger.

Somebody has to pay the bills to keep this the way you like it. You can’t click an “X?” Would you rather buy a subscription to read this place, or for Joe to shut it down? If Joe pulled the plug, or charged people to read the content, that would really help readers, wouldn’t it? This place is free and updates DAILY all year-round. Name another free site that is credentialed to cover the Bucs that updates daily, including Christmas and Easter and July 4th.
