Joe Talks Owners Meetings, Sterilization & More
March 26th, 2014Enjoy the audio below from today’s busy “JoeBucsFan Hour” with the dean of Tampa Bay sports radio, Steve Duemig of WDAE-AM 620.
Joe dives into all kinds of stuff from Lovie Smith out of today’s NFL Owners meetings, the Mike Williams furor, an Asian cathouse, and much more.

Asain cathouse…heard that live on the way home…..too funny…call

Most entertaining and informative was the caller from the Boom Boom Room!
I totally disagree with Joe(s) comments about the Bucs fans and comments about people wanting Williams gone. And “22” touchdowns…
Umm – all I will say is I can’t wait for Lovie to start because I am sickened by so called experts. We haven’t won on a consistent basis in over a decade and Joe goes on the air and blast us fans for wanting change – umm that’s smart.
What’s the litmus test??? Lose and want the same? Ok brilliant.
NO CHANGE IS NECC WHEN YOU LOSE AND LOOK AT THE ROSTERS WE FIELDED.

MW19 needs to score twice as many TDs as he has 911 calls.
I hope he can get his career back on track. I hope he didn’t cash out with Rip Van Freemadonna last year.

well said Architek..but the again who ran that decade?….the wanting “rock star”….and you wonder why the fans bailed? a full circle of tail wagging the dog mediocrity….
i tell you what little pooch when we get paid what you do to insult your base we’ll step from behind the keyboard…until then pull up your big boy britches and quit crying about fans opinions…

Architek Says
“We haven’t won on a consistent basis in over a decade and Joe goes on the air and blast us fans for wanting change – umm that’s smart.”
Not to minimize the others responsible (players, coaches) but the fans are partly to blame for things as well.
Fan insistence on constant change each time the Bucs lose a game of some item makes the news, along with the lack of attendence (don’t even try to claim the 12th man makes no difference. It sure helped the Seahawks) have forced the owners into unwise choices.
Releasing Mike Williams would be another. I know you guys want Watson, but it will not happen. And Williams is not Aqib Talib, and yet many of you guys say we should have kept Talib…even though there was a time when most of you said to cut him.
Let’s not pretend the fans don’t share the blame when they give up after losing two games.

LOL Wanted to say “Vietnamese whorehouse” but thought that might be too offensive.
Joe thought the caller was standing in a scene from “Apocalypse Now” or something.

Bucs fans should be given an award after surviving the Dominik/Morris/Schiano era.
Just prior to that were Division Titles in 2005 and 2007 and a winning season in 2008.
It’s five years of futility not a decade.

What I came out of this with is the comment from our fan from Greenbay telling us that our new center was able to run block. To me that is real good news because I had heard he was an exceptional pass blocker but only average at run blocking. Should we get Nix back who is a very excepitonal run blocker, sounds like Martin may be able to get some good yardage right up the LG–C gap. Our front line on Offense should be much improved!
