Revis On Brian Hartline?

The Dolphins have two stud wide receivers in Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace. So where will Darrelle Revis spend his time tonight?
It’s a big tactical decision for the New Schiano Order. Wallace is a speedster, and Hartline is more crafty.
The Dolphins writers at the Sun-Sentinel projected Revis would be assigned to take Hartline out the game because he’s part of quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s comfort zone.
Hartline (38 receptions, 477 yards, 2 TDs) could have career bests in receptions, yards and TDs. But Revis is a different animal. If he doesn’t shadow WR Mike Wallace (36 receptions, 480 yards, 1 TD), Revis will spend time on Hartline. If he shuts down Hartline, the game becomes much tougher for QB Ryan Tannehill because he has his best rapport with Hartline.
Joe’s not concerned about Revis; Joe’s concerned about what’s across from Revis. Leonard Johnson has had a poor sophomore season. Danny Gorrer is still fresh off groin surgery, and Michael Adams is a getting his legs back after midseason knee surgery. Johnthan Banks is battling through what is believed to be MRSA.
Unless the Bucs find their M.I.A. pass rush, one of those guys needs a standout game tonight.

Specific scheme aside, in the pre-season the Dolphins used a short drop, quick pass attack against us and it worked effectively.
Schiano is a dead man walking. This game will go along way to determine when. Win and get a stay of execution, lose or get embarrassed, and he could get the hook sooner.

Revis should probably be covering the FB out of the flat. Let’s utilize him to our full potential.

We need LVD on Tannehill all night….in his face and wrapping him up….won’t need to worry too much about other CBs if the D-line can penetrate….

Watch out for their TE as well, he gets lots of passes. The problem is they leave Revis on one side it seems all of the time so the Dolphins will most likely choose whom he covers.

Very simple, joseph mamma.
Look at all the drafts since 2009 and look at all the CBs that Dominik has drafted (there’s at least 5).
Not ONE is a starter. Not ONE. Hardly any are still on the team.
He traded Talib – who could still play apparently.
He signed the head case Wright. – gone.
And now Revis who seems okay.
Banks has been a disaster… he doesn’t know how to look for the ball.
POOR. EVALUATOR. OF. TALENT.

Are you saying Schiano hasn’t embarrassed this franchise yet?
If the game is close, Greg will find a way to lose. After last week, you can see how resourceful he is.
I don’t think the Bucs have anything to worry about. The Jags won yesterday so 0-16 should get the 1st overall pick.
The Buc’s can offer that pick to any of the QB starved teams, which will force Jacksonville’s hand and they should be able to get Clowney and Murray or Manziel while adding a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
