“Fear And Distrust”
October 2nd, 2013There are certain writers that have automatic credibility with Joe. One of those is Andrew Brandt.
The former Packers front office man often writes about the business of the NFL. His insight is very good.
Since he dealt with agents, lots of them, Brandt has a good working relationship with many. In writing a piece on the freefall of Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman, Brandt spoke with agents of several Bucs players and has learned some disturbing news.
Playing for the Bucs, per Brandt’s sources, is akin to working for the KGB. They are monitored at all times whether inside the walls of One Buc Palace, or on the sidelines at the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway to discover players who the coaching staff deems misbehaving.
In speaking with agents of several Bucs players recently, I have sensed a common theme: There is an atmosphere of fear and distrust under the current regime in Tampa. Players have told their agents about coaches roaming through the locker room (typically the players’ sanctuary away from coaches) and staff videotaping players on the sidelines during losses to single out players laughing or horsing around. The players also speak to the influx of multiple Rutgers players from Schiano’s past and the use of the phrase “Schiano Men,” a term that clearly does not apply to Freeman.
Videotaping players on the sidelines for laughing? How Bill Belicheat of the Bucs.
Joe wonders what the fine is for smiling?
Look, Joe doesn’t think Bucs commander Greg Schiano is Lucifer personified as some will have you believe. But this kind of Mickey Mouse nonsense, if true, is Harry High School crapola. It’s not even fit for college.
Perhaps maybe the Bucs coaching staff should be more concerned with not late-hitting a quarterback or hitting a field goal in order to win a game, not worrying if a player winked at a cheerleader during a timeout.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:06 pm
You know I still think Josh had to go regardless but it looks like Schiano has tried to bring college tactics to the NFL without adapting at all. This is not good and we know what happens when the players revolt. There is one radio station with a Schiano “death watch” on where you guess the week Schiano is let go. I like Schiano but if he is routinely lying about things like the end of game fiasco where he said his players like it we have serious problems and maybe a regime change once again is in order. This attempt by the Glazers at bringing in unproven coaches on the cheap is obviously blowing up in their face. We need a proven winner especially with this talent. Bill Cowher where are you!!!!!!!!!
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:07 pm
I can’t overemphasize that the Glazers need to clean house and get rid of this joke of a coach and his staff YESTERDAY!
Canceling my season tix TODAY!
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:09 pm
I do have one question, where is Butch Davis and Dave Wannstadt in all this mess. Shouldn’t they be telling Schiano “hey you can’t do this in the NFL!!” What was the point of having them here anyway. They should be advising him bigtime but its probably too late. Or maybe he won’t listen.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:12 pm
Any one want to buy some Bucs tickets?
Heck I don’t even want to watch on tv.
To the Glazer family.
Thank you for the nice gesture of putting the games on TV no matter what. But I cant in good faith support your product right now. I sense nothing redeeming or positive from the organization any longer. Yes there are good/great things there still. BUT this non sense with your coach has left a very bitter taste in what has become ever since the loss of John Gruden been an ever diminishing product that simply over shadows all the good the team and you gentleman do. Do not let the coach tarnish your team any longer. It is time.
PLEASE for the love of the Bucs’ fix this, now, not later.
The HIPA violation alone will give you all the legal grounds required to get the madman off the helm.
Formerly Proud to be a Buc Football Fan and hope to be again soon.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:12 pm
The next thing we’ll hear is that Schiano has placed a sniper in the upper East stands to nail bad attitude Bucs with an Ritalin dart.
This is getting comical…true or not…amusing press field-day.
What a dream or nightmare (depends) come true for what has been an under-covered team
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:13 pm
Hmm…the same tactics that brought about a listless and passive society in the former Soviet Union…is what the Bucs hierarchy are striving to implement more fully…
…Maybe Greg could get the traffic cam footage of Josh on the way home to see if he uses proper signaling prior to making left turns?
Kind of weird that the same traits found in the populace in good ‘ol mother Russia …are kinda the same problems we’re seeing from guys who thought they were grown-a$$ men!?
…what happens when you clamp down so hard on guys that they’re afraid of stepping across the coach’s line?
…listless, and passive.
Maybe that’s why top elite talent is free-falling and looks like they don’t know what their doing.
They don’t – Heir Schiano changes his requirements of them on a daily basis – just to keep everyone moving in the direction he has for them…today.
Can one of you “illuminators” turn the light on in this darkened room?
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:13 pm
Disgusting.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:14 pm
Again, further testimony why we should fire SS Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler, or the Alfred E. Neuman look-a-like.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:14 pm
I MUST BE THE ONLY ONE ON THIS BOARD MAN ENOUGH TO WANT TO WORK FOR A GUY LIKE SCHIANO.
THIS RIGHT HERE IS A DIRECT REFLECTION OF THE PU$$IFICATION IN AMERICA TODAY.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:15 pm
Be patient fans. This is a train wreck on track number 13. Just a matter of time.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:16 pm
@ I am – please add my name to that letter!
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:18 pm
Well, i think this is just a train that isnt gonna stop. Schiano is gonna have a very hard time finding a coaching job in the NFL if repoets like this keep comin out.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:19 pm
“toes on the line” thing has whole new meaning now…shiano doesn’t seem to get that these are men, and respect is earned not awarded.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:19 pm
I am tired of being patient.
I have thousands of dollars of tickets for a product that has become defective.
No more patience. This clown is literally the circus ringmaster any way you slice it. I am not paying to see a circus.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:31 pm
I just do not see how Schiano makes it thru the year, maybe not even another month.
Sure, winning a game would help immensely. But how much longer are the players going to players going to keep up giving their all. You can say they are professionals, etc., but as everyone says, football is an emotional game. Right now there emotions are not in a good place.
It just keeps raining down every day, all day.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:31 pm
Yeah, but guys, ESPN will say we don’t deserve our team if we don’t show up to support this crappy, non-entertaining, entertainment!
If anyone wants to know where THEIR fans went – tell them to be patient – many of us are waiting to see where Josh Freeman lands.
Some of us are watching LeGarrette Blount and Aqib Talib tear up the league – ssome are even having fun listening to Jon on Monday night football, or talking Van Halen.
Many of us are boating, skiing, kayaking, hiking…
Tell them it’s hard to compete with God and fun, they better get crackin’ or like Lido, we ain’t comin’ back…
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:33 pm
Wow. This time I mean it.
F$uk u schiano
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:39 pm
If this is true, sheesh.
Whatever happened to Schiano’s principles of Trust, Accountability, Family, etc.? This is the guy that stood up in front of ownership, players, fans and media and told us that’s what his core beliefs were. I hope these reports aren’t true, but if they are, it’s the work of an egotystical madman.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:39 pm
Fire that clown now!!!!
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:40 pm
Canceled my tickets today – told my rep I will not renew until Schiano is no longer the head coach. If enough people do it, the message will be delivered to the Glazers. I have no doubt about that.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:40 pm
TBBF…exactly and we have about 10 more days of these articles and reports. Still don’t and won’t get how firing the coach in mid-season is going to solve anything. I guess more and more articles and reports like this are only going to rile up the fire Schiano crowd even more over the next 10 days. Oh well maybe some of them will be Buc fans again someday. That is when the team starts winning. Typical.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:42 pm
Canceled my tix after last season I knew this coach was a joke.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:43 pm
Toes on the unemployment line !
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:45 pm
I am willing to bet we win the game after we fire Schiano, it will be like the wall coming down in Germany …
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:45 pm
yah the guys on ESPN really know a lot too. (sarcasm) Some dude said on NFL live yesterday that “the Bucs are in such a mess that they only scored 4 TD’s in 4 games, and one of the guys with a TD is Ogletree and they cut him?” and he shakes his head over cutting Ogletree. Proof that some of them don’t have a clue.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:48 pm
I love my bucs but this is bad we’re on every sports station as a laughing stock.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:49 pm
Seems like we learn something new everyday about what’s going on in that locker room……
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:50 pm
As long as this guy is coach we will never get another free agent to come here.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:52 pm
if true I will agree that is extreme. kind of reminds me of the chiefs situation when Todd Haley was their head coach with everyone in the organization in fear of being video taped 24/7 and people having to have secret conversation while in the building. even with all, again if true, being said I will still continue my stance and support Schiano for as long as he is our head coach, much to the schagrin of Hawaiian. and you all have to remember if this is true and Schiano still isnt winning, you wont have to worry about him being fired because it will eventually happen. so basically it will play itself out.
October 2nd, 2013 at 1:53 pm
@ Buc 1987
The problem is 0-4….1-3…a small problem 2-2 expected….3-1 elated..
1-4…..?
The question to ask yourself is it Schiano or is it losing with Schiano?……I think the latter.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:00 pm
Wait …. I thought it was freeman …doh !
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:06 pm
@Raphael……..if you think that NONE of it is Freeman’s fault, you are seriously delusional. Despite how bad “Big Brother” Schiano is, Freeman has NOT been consistent throughout his entire career.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:07 pm
Still a fan, still support the team. Just want a new scratch that want a leader.
I do not believe firing him will fix the team this year.
I hope it gets some better. Mostly I just want to be proud of the team I support. Right now I can not.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:08 pm
If we lose to Philly can anyone picture in your mind what the fallout will probably be?
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:10 pm
I would stop short of calling Schiano Lucifer but how can anyone say he doesn’t have to go? He’s ruining the team we all ( well, most) of us love…despite the extreme dissension amongst us. Short of winning the next 12 games ( not a chance ), this thing is unfixable. Schiano will only listen to Belicheat… And that usually leads to a player ending up in NE and thriving. Game over, Schiano. Go be NE’s linebacker coach at quit ruining this franchise. Who would ever come coach with or play for you again that isn’t a desperate scrub?!
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:10 pm
@Patrick
Does it matter how much you hate him anymore? He’s GONE!!! This is about Schiano now.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:12 pm
@Raphael
You still are defending Freeman even though he has had a total mental meltdown since being benched.
NFL starters are benched all of the time…even QBs and they don’t react like children or that they are entitled.
Instead of saying “If I were coach, I would have benched me too, because I stunk”.but, I will do everything I can to help Mike be successful. And, If i get another opportunity to play, I’ll do my best to help us win”
No…what we here is “don’t understand being benched”, “not comfortable with back-up”, “want trade”…”win a SB for “a” team.
Is this what we have paid millions of dollars (still paying) for?
I have been a Freeman hopeful from the beginning, but he has just shown they were absolutely right to bench him.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:14 pm
Why do any of you engage with Raphael regarding Freeman? You know whats coming. Make a reference to his having Josh’s Thriller Pics framed throughout his house and above his bed and move on. But do not engage with him, it simply encourages him.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:15 pm
Glazers, I’m afraid, for me, as a fan, patience has been lost with Coach Schiano. I supported the hiring, but the true colors are bleeding through each “Buccaneer man” he lets walk out the door. The premature decision to bench the “face of the franchise” QB BEFORE WEEK 4, no less, has unraveled into a nightmare for the entire organization but has opened my eyes to where your HC is taking this team.
The embarrassment isn’t even the actual move. My problem with this decision is:
1) The timing of it; similar to the Gruden/Allen firing, just odd, but this move was too early in the season. I am not defending Freeman’s stats, who could? Yet, I don’t think Coughlin is benching Eli any time soon.
2) the lack of foresight; how could you not, as owners of this franchise, think this through with the big picture in mind? Of course, unless this team starts winning multiple games in a row, you may then want to re-evaluate your decision to back this move that could potentially set this team back, 2 or 3 years–done by a coach, who just couldn’t support this kid all the way, until he’s failed & his contract’s up, or until he turns it around & succeeds. Glennon has a ton of pressure on him to win. Either he finds his inner Tom Brady, or it could have an adverse effect on his growth as a QB; it’s happened countless times.
3) What about family? You have an intervention, if necessary, but you get that kid, the franchise, turned around with the whole team behind him. Maybe, Coach tried. Maybe, the team is afraid to take a stand. (Just makes me wonder now, was that captain vote rigged after all?) Either way, there was no respect for Freeman. Unfortunately, that’s life. Some people can’t deal with certain people. What a patient coach you got there. The way you are allowing the coach to treat Freeman, like an outcast, is the same way you are treating him; that doesn’t sound like family to me, brother. How can the other players feel good about how one of their brothers has been treated? They just might be looking over their shoulders all the time. Not good.
4) Just look at the offense. Best offense in the Buc’s history last season; I was genuinely excited for the 2013 team with more records going down as the offense dominates. Nope. Freeman is the fall guy for what an entire offense has been responsible for, and, of course, Freeman included. All of a sudden he’s THE problem. They are sticking to a system that relies on an accurate passer but could take 3 years to develop. Please, tell me, do you really believe Glennon has the same level of talent that Freeman has? I don’t think he’s ready.
I understand why benching Freeman happened; I just think you could have prevented what has followed by delaying his benching & ONLY doing it IF NECESSARY. I feel terrible for Freeman. His career numbers are decent. I believe he will start again, & play at a high level, LIKE WE’VE ALL SEEN HIM DO BEFORE. It won’t surprise me to Josh beat his soon-to-be former team in the future, & with the way this has been handled, it would be quite fitting.
By the way, to the fans, if you were down with Freeman getting sent out to pasture; then, don’t complain about this mess; if you can’t see that caused this, whatever.
Even though the damage has been done, I can only hope, as owners, you can now see where this is going, but there is hope for you guys, at this point. You could still have the last laugh, right? Team wins, everybody’s happy. Yeah, I’m not too sure about that. What’s even more disturbing to me now is, if this team has won only 3 games & the circus continues, you might have the chance to redeem yourselves, while you axe the short-lived career of your current HC & GM. No one can stop you, Glazers, but you could have stopped this.
I am a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Like the rest of the fans, I just want to see this team win. Stop the bleeding.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:17 pm
@TBBF
Please don’t waste time with Raphael and his idol (lil Raheem) – let it be what it is; clean the house out.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:17 pm
Schiano never gave this team a chance
From the preseason on he should have let
Free win at the jets and vs the saints
I don’t care what happened during the games
If a win is there u take it to up tight
Playing for 3
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:18 pm
Another Schiano belief: If you cant be good, at least be interesting.
He must have promised the Glazer’s that he’d add two more rings to their organization in just two years. They just didn’t realize he meant three ring circus.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:20 pm
The Schiano Smear Campaign continues,
Along with the hypocrites that curse the world for believing everything the media prints about poor ole joshy woshy and take everything written about Schiano as the word of God. Lol comical
I’m not advocating Schiano stay or go, I’ll trust the decision the organization chooses to go after this season but this is pretty ridiculous. It’s a sad world we love in and the media should be ashamed for the work they do in trying to ruin peoples lives. Integrity seems to be a distant things these days. And I say that in regards to what we’ve seen from them toward both Josh and Schiano in recent days.
Shameful.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:21 pm
I am at a point where I don’t know whether to root for or against the bucs anymore. If they start winning this dictator will keep his job. No free agent in their right mind will want to come here.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:21 pm
Tampabaybucfan….I differ in opinion, he has been the most sane one and the ONLY inside info we have is from Donald Penn. And he said Josh has never said a negative word about the bucs and has been trying to help Mike Glennon …
Josh Freeman is not only a talented , gifted QB with 9 franchise records at age 25, but he is a CLASS human being….unlike some of you guys…( pos 1987 )
Can’t wait to see where he goes with some real coaching.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:21 pm
I didn’t read through the comments yet, but are players really pissed that one of their BOSSES at their PROFESSIONAL JOBS (that they get paid handsomely to work for) gets mad when they do not take those jobs seriously (conduct one’s self as a pro and not be screwing around on the sidelines while the team loses. yet again). They are not paid to go “Damn we lost, but at least I got my check. Har har har.”
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:22 pm
TBBF
You know I read your little tantrum there and for someone who said they were in understanding with Freeman’s plight you have practically turned him into some kind of monster. I don’t know how old you are but you must be elderly. Parkinson’s and short term memory loss is nothing to be ashamed of but you need to stay on your meds.
Another its funny how during the last couple of years the biggest knock on Josh was his lack of mental toughness, his meek attitude in press conferences. So for the first time in his toes on the line and be a good lil soldier career so far he comes out to defend himself against a little SS bush league coach and its wrong. Isn’t this what we wanted to see from Freeman all along. A little fire and now you want to scold him over it. unreal.
He’s gone … let it go Josh who?
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:22 pm
live in*
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:26 pm
@TampaBayBucFan
You REALLY believe Freeman is the issue here and NOT Schiano? Of course Freeman deserves to be benched! Did he handle it well? NO! But there is sooooo much more to this than Freeman. You have a college coach that has NEVER done anything on any level, trying to throw his weight around like he’s God’s Gift to the NFL, while bringing nothing but bush league type play and embarrassment to the entire organization….not to mention the entire area!
This clown has got to go! The fact that the Glazers have given this P.O.S. Carte Blanche to completely dismantle this team with his power madness, makes me wonder WTF their motives are! I’ve stood up for the Glazers since they bought this team, but THIS? This is just too much for any hardcore BUC Fan to stomach. Unless of course, you don’t mind being embarrassed every time you tune into ESPN or NFL Network…or worse, show up to Raymond James on Sunday! This is NOT about Freeman acting like a spoiled child, it’s about a coach that plain and simple…..CANNOT COACH!
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:29 pm
@Architek
@TBBF
Please don’t waste time with Raphael and his idol (lil Raheem)
Thanks for the “heads up” re Raphael….I will ignore his post re Freeman because of his alleged gay bias.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:29 pm
Do the pro-Schiano doofs really think he is the right person for the Buccaneers after reading this story?
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:29 pm
WHERE IS BUC REALIST to put this all in perspective…
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:30 pm
PRBucFan
That has to be the closet and nicest thing you ever said about Josh.
Bravo!
brought a tear to my eye… 🙁
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:32 pm
😀 Why thank you Elijah, ahaha
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:32 pm
Step in Glazers. The town needs you.
Like right now.
It’s your franchise, dont let this guy totally ruin its reputation.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:37 pm
IF this is true, it’s going a bit too far. I take nothing without named sources with a grain of salt. If you can’t name a source, don’t report it. Just that simple.
If true though, how were they doing it.? With phones? Network cameras (nothing to do with Bucs)?
Sorry, I just won’t buy into it without a credible named source that is with the team in some capacity…or without the NFL investigating and announcing they are protecting the identity of the source.
But from a reporter? Forget it.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:40 pm
^^^ Applause
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:47 pm
and if true, do you really think the Glazers would allow such lunacy to continue? I dont. I doubt they are in the dark when it comes to this, they would know all of this before any of us fans would.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:49 pm
@ Elijah & jb
I’m not one with a meds problem…from what I can tell Freeman likes to take medication not prescribed….as senile as I am, I have never done that except for an occaisional Quaalude.
& jb….where did you read in my post or any post for that matter that I said Josh was the problem instead of Schiano…If you must know, I think they both have problems and have both contributed to the 0-4…..0-4?….Josh didn’t even play in the fourth game you say?….exactly…he didn’t play and should have.
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:50 pm
Its obvious Schiano has ruined Josh and this team. Its obvious he can’t coach evident by the fact that his decision making in close games down the stretch is horrible. Yes, he is killing this team. We should have paid more attention to Revis when he spoke up after week one. If anyone believes that Schiano is not the problem, you have not been looking. Just look at the Rays. Every player that has ever played for Maddon loves him. How many buc players have come out praising Schiano? That would be zero. Coach to player relationship is vital. No, they don’t have to always like one another, but they should respect each other. Obviously there is no respect on either side. Fire him now Glazers!!
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:52 pm
And you know Josh did not have a prescription for ritalin how?
October 2nd, 2013 at 2:57 pm
I guess I’ll be the one to say I don’t buy any of this sh!t. We haven’t won a game, period. That’s what it is. They don’t have anything else to write about the Bucs so let’s take a rumor and run with it. I’m a fan of Schiano, glad he ran Talib and K2 out of the building and I still believe. No way do Revis and Goldston come to town and subject themselves to an atmosphere that even remotely resembles the rumors we’ve heard of this past week. Donald Penn’s personality wouldn’t stand for it either. It’s sad that everyone seems to buy in to the rumors and doesn’t understand that the media is paid to create a media circus and they’re winning b/c all of you sheep are buying into it all. Keep chewing your cud, media flock.
Defense is lights out(accept for some of the poor tackling), O-line needs to block better and receivers need to catch the damn ball. End of story.
Boring write up for the media though isn’t it? Hmmmm
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:04 pm
TBBF says,
from what I can tell Freeman likes to take medication not prescribed.
_____________________________________________________________
One time he took ritalin instead of adderall because of his Physician trying different meds to see what was most effective, and Josh reported it realizing even though its virtually the same type drug it has a different name, and each drug albeit the same type have to be permissible on its own merit. He has done nothing wrong and is only guilty of having ADHD.
Your statement is false and borderline libelous. please stop .. he’s gone
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:07 pm
and by the way his adderall is prescribed, and so was the ritalin that just wasn’t ok’d by the NFL at the time.
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:10 pm
@TBBF
Perhaps before you accuse a man of a felony you should have the facts straight.
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:12 pm
Wow so agents are the most honest people? This smells of Freeman’s people saying all of this to get out get a contract what he wants and to take focus of that Freeman just sucks. On every site I read Coach says something and it’s a lie but agents and media say something and every slap dick takes it as gospel. All I can say is GO BUCS!!!!
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:14 pm
^^^ Same goes for believing everything written about Schiano as well.
Lets not be hypocritical 😉
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:25 pm
@ Elijah….
‘from what I can tell” takes it out of the libelus category….and I stand corrected by the statement….although I haven’t seen the prescription.
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:26 pm
If I hear one more person say Schiano ruined Josh, Im going to scream!
Nobody ruined Josh but himself. That dude cannot handle the mental pressure required of a starting NFL QB. You do not get your hand held in this league. If you have a sub-50% completion percentage and losing games….you are going to be benched.
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:40 pm
Again, how easy is it to just throw S@#! against the wall and have people gobble it up like it’s the gospel truth. Once again some unnamed source..”I spoke some agents.” Sure you did. I’m sure agents are just lining up at the door to spill private information that could get their client kicked off of a team . What a load of BS. I don’t give a crap who Joe trusts….Joe is a member of the group. Maybe Joe has more integrity but Joe still grabs every piece of gossip on the streets about the Bucs and posts it here so it gets disseminated as fact. It’s especially bad when Joe endorses a source as if the guy would never lie. I don’t trust anybody that prints a story and is unwilling to name a source. It’s just too easy to make anything up and then authenticate it with an unnamed source. When I actually hear one of the players come forward or one of the agents is willing to go on record then I’ll believe it. If not, then it’s total BS. Why doesn’t somebody catch up to Ogletree and ask him? He should be able to verify that story if it’s true.
October 2nd, 2013 at 3:49 pm
Bobby it seems to only work one way and not the other lol.
Everything about Freeman is false.
Everything about Schiano Gospel Truth.
October 2nd, 2013 at 5:09 pm
@TBBF @bobby
I’ve asked this several times, and it seems no one likes answering it – were you part of the crowd calling for Gruden to be fired…? Seems like I remember you were…
Tells me you know EXACTLY why the MAJORITY of fans realize, that as the truth comes out about Schiano – hes a phony piece of trash.
If you don’t remember what a phony is – ask Meshawn, WOOOODY, EYErah, and Dr Propecia…
You should probably learn to let go of the floating corpse – Schiano is going down like Gruden…and he’s taking HIS general manager with him, too.
You can’t clear the air while continuing to polish the turds.
The only way this team gets back on track is to clear out ALL the dead wood.
We have plenty of former head coaches already on staff – they could fire Schiano and never miss a beat.
October 2nd, 2013 at 5:43 pm
Another claim, another source too cowardly to stand behind what they are saying. You guys shouldn’t even report crap like this cause it’s unverifiable.
How about corroboration? Isn’t that what journalists are supposed to do?
But no, it’s all National Enquirer. Hell they even have higher standards than these “reporters”.

Come to think of it I’ve never seen a camera on the sideline before this report. I’ve never seen a clip of a player on the side line talking to each other or their coaches.
Come on people!
We are in 2013 not 1962! Teams and the league have been recording players on the sideline for years now. Not to use it against them but for content. Have none of you been on Buccaneer.com and seen videos of the players and coaches on the side line talking about plays giving shout outs to their MOM?
Wake up world! Media is making money off of this soap-opera including Joe. Joe must be racking up them advertising dollars with all the traffic running through. Make your money Joe.

Wow, I’m surprised with all of the people who have come to their senses and are realizing that they should wait for facts before crucifying someone who’s instilled discipline in our team and turned our Defense completely around.

This explains why Schiano has so many damn “coaches” on this roster! If only we had 2 or 3 that could actually coach!

and we fired mr Monday night for this I am very disappointed with the coach gm offensive coordinator with the lack luster play calling I think I could make a good game plan against the bucs receivers running long routs with no dump off have you watched were josh had no where to go with the ball and has to throw into tight windows and the rookie will end up throwing interception after interception and will be another luke remember him stack the box rush the passer game plan and I will not go to a single game with these clowns in charge and this is the hangover from the bucs being cheap mark at the helm I think you have to make a move now we have 2 former head coaches on staff now and I wonder what revis is thinking

Wow .. If this is true, it’s the final straw.
Respect just doesn’t work this way.
Tony Dungy was more respected even while he was being fired, via the culture of his leadership, and the choices of the men that worked within it. He commanded a disciplined, accountable team, the likes of which Schiano could never achieve with games like this.
I agree with those questioning where Davis and Wannstedt’s influence are in this picture. Clearly, it’s over. Fire the whole staff.
