An Open Letter To Michael Vick

Gerald McCoy is frustrated with Michael Vick, as the Eagles quarterback always seems to be hurt when GMC and the Bucs face the Eagles.
When Gerald McCoy was growing up in Oklahoma, naturally he was a football junkie. One of his favorite players was then-Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.
In his younger days, Vick was a dynamic player who could win games both with his extraordinary speed or his Howitzer-like arm. Of course, GMC dreamed of playing in the NFL and in particular, a chance to face who he looked up to as a world class competitor, Vick.
Well, the past two seasons, those dreams and hopes of GMC to chase down and tackle Vick have eluded the Bucs Pro Bowl defensive tackle. So much so, that GMC, in so many words, offered up a message to Vick Wednesday through the local fourth estate:
Mr. Vick, GMC hates you for dodging him.
“Mike Vick has done this to me the past two years. He gets hurt the week before I finally play against the guy. I’ve wanted to play against him since I was a kid. So Vick, if you hear this, I don’t like you. Not because I don’t like you, because you get hurt the week before I finally get to play against you. You are a great competitor and I would love to compete against you. But since you don’t want to play, I will talk about Nick Foles.”
Of course, the way Foles lit up the Bucs defense last year in the upset win over the Bucs, which ended any playoff hopes in 2013, Joe can understand why the Bucs, GMC specifically, would rather have Vick take snaps for the Eagles this Sunday.

Adam L pretty much nailed it. He’s disappointed he can break the fragile Vick in half, which he almost certainly could do.

McCoy, please calm down a little…..these refs aint playing and we dont need the penalties costing us more games.
It sucks seeing great plays and then saying right afterwards, “please, no flag….please, no flag! I wish someone would pile drive Goodell one day….I hate that guy!!!
