“We’ll Get It Turned; There’s Not A Doubt In My Mind”
September 29th, 2013The leader of the New Schiano Order stood tall on the Buccaneers Radio Network after the game. He spoke confidently that his Buccaneers will stay united.
“We’ll get it turned; there’s not a doubt in my mind,” Schiano said.
Schiano praised his defense. “I thought the defense played will the majority of the game,” he said. “Holding someone 1-for-10 on third down” is an accomplishment.
Mike Glennon did a lot of good things, Schiano said, and claimed No. 8 will shine in the future.
“There’s a lot to look forward to,” Schiano said of Glennon. “We’re going to get better offensively. We need to get better offensively.”
September 29th, 2013 at 5:17 pm
Please pull press conferences from coaches that were fired in the past and listen to Schiano spit the same crap. His fate is sealed.
Looking forward to 2014. Something new, even the unknown, is better then this.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:17 pm
I’m sooooooooooooooooooooo tired of waiting. Whatever you say coach.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:18 pm
Schiano has destroyed this team…..what a joke of a HC.
Hey, maybe we should keep changing QB’s ….or keep blaming the QB
September 29th, 2013 at 5:18 pm
I’m looking forward to a new coaching staff. But I think we’ll steal a few this season — that’ll be fun. Gotta get something worthwhile out of my Sunday Ticket.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:20 pm
Getting better on Offense = Sullivan gone
September 29th, 2013 at 5:20 pm
@ Joke…
I’d rather just lose them all. Need to sure up the draft picks.
I hate this feeling….
September 29th, 2013 at 5:20 pm
I want Lovie. Bring Lovie back home.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:21 pm
I’m sure Josh is somewhere laughing right now!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:22 pm
Fire Sullivan on Tuesday. It’s been great seeing the Bucs on ESPN but it’s been for all the wrong reasons this year.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:24 pm
I have nothing to say you guys have said it for me , thank u .
September 29th, 2013 at 5:24 pm
Josh is passed out. His alarm took a dump.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:24 pm
There’s no doubt in your mind? That’s the problem alleged HC, you don’t have one…
God please have this guy fired soon, like before the next game will do…
September 29th, 2013 at 5:26 pm
rings…hollow…
September 29th, 2013 at 5:26 pm
Same old bulls**t
September 29th, 2013 at 5:26 pm
Go carry Belicheat’s hoodie for him. He needs a personal assistant biach.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:26 pm
My opinion doesn’t count, but I’ve got a few doubts.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:27 pm
“This is not a rebuilding year.”
Of course that was last year not this year. This year apparently IS a rebuilding year.
It is past time to clean house starting with Dominik and Schiano.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:28 pm
The jets are looking forward to our 1st rd pick….lol people forget we traded it , thinking we would be 20 th pick ….
September 29th, 2013 at 5:28 pm
Hogwash – this offense is terrible!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:29 pm
@Tone,
This is not on Sulli. This is all Schiano. He sits on leads way too early. This is interesting since he does the victory formation blow up plays, but takes a prevent offense approach in the 2nd half.
Can’t stand this 1940 offensive mindset. He is a horrible coach that has allowed the game to pass him by.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:29 pm
Another epic meltdown last minute loss. Glazers, do the right thing, admit your gamble didn’t work, fire Schiano, promote Wannstedt as temp HC and fire Sully. Go Bucs!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:30 pm
“Glennon gives us the best chance to win”…… the #1 pick in the draft! Though Josh proved by his behavior this week that his benching was warranted. Way to act like a professional bro. Something is very wrong with this team.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:30 pm
Congrats to Josh , to get away from this circus ….
September 29th, 2013 at 5:30 pm
Raphael, we traded this year’s #1
September 29th, 2013 at 5:30 pm
the smear campaign he’s used against Freeman says all I need to know about this guy. He’s in WAY over his head, and if he’s not removed soon, this team will “jump ship” in a hurry. The way he’s handled Freeman is pathetic, regardless of the talent, or lack of it. I cannot see ANY Buc players trusting this guy, UNLESSS youre from Rutgers, or was the “apple of his eye” when recruiting in HIGH SCHOOL…..GO BACK TO RECRUITING HIGHSCHOOLERS!!!!!!!11
September 29th, 2013 at 5:31 pm
Raphael, shut your mouth. Josh was still part of the problem idiot.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:32 pm
Raphael, it’s a 3rd round we lost next year
September 29th, 2013 at 5:32 pm
Raphael you’re an idiot. We traded this past yrs #1. The conditional pick can only escalate to a 3rd.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:33 pm
Raphael
It was a third or fourth conditionally
Revis must be on Bucs roster third day of 2014 season for it to be a third
September 29th, 2013 at 5:33 pm
*2014 League year
September 29th, 2013 at 5:33 pm
Famous last words?
September 29th, 2013 at 5:34 pm
Raheem did more with less talent… Speaking of talent when is The GM gonna catch some heat for all the top picks that are not in the Bucs plans anymore??
September 29th, 2013 at 5:37 pm
Dominick BETTER be fired at the end of the season. I don’t want him hiring us another coach and drafting another QB in round 1. GET RID OF HIM and SCHIANO!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:39 pm
Congrats to Josh for giving his middle finger even if it does cost him dearly in the future. This coach is a joke and doesn’t know how to get the best from his players. The only way Schiano succeeds is if his players are already self developed. Because it is apparent he has no clue how to work with what he has. Freeman’s digression under Schiano is a testament more towards Schiano’s inability to adapt. Guarantee if Chip Kelly had hired on here Freeman would be playing a lot better under his tutelage and scheme.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:40 pm
I keep having flashbacks of Warren Sapp sitting in the locker room pleading “Just give us 17 points. That’s all we need”
September 29th, 2013 at 5:40 pm
This coaching staff just doesn’t have a winning formula
September 29th, 2013 at 5:42 pm
This loss CLEARLY was on Freeman!!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:44 pm
@RBellBuc Chip Kelly didn’t come here because he knew that Freeman couldn’t run his offense and he would be stuck with him
September 29th, 2013 at 5:46 pm
@raphael,
Freeman is a part of the trifecta failure!
September 29th, 2013 at 5:48 pm
@Mr. Patrick
How do you know that? @sswipe?
September 29th, 2013 at 5:50 pm
I agree RBell
September 29th, 2013 at 5:52 pm
I can’t get over the Schiano hate here. Revis was man on Fitzgerald an was badly beaten for the TD but no one says a word. Not hating on Revis but sometime guys make plays.
September 29th, 2013 at 5:55 pm
Blah, blah, blah we will turn it around coach.Next year when this regretfull staff is gone and we have a Hc-Oc that can develop talent and have all the players buy into the system
September 29th, 2013 at 6:03 pm
@RBellBuc Just go back 2 years and read his quotes.
September 29th, 2013 at 6:06 pm
Well coach……..how are you gonna hang this one on Freeman? Was it he that called a 10 yard pass with 4:04 left, while hanging on to a 7 point lead, from the shadow of your own endzone, after Martin had just carried it for 5 yards on first down?
You CAN’T blame it on Freeman! So you blame it on Glennon! Who the blank called the play? Glennon’s a rookie, and we know what a total control freak you are, so it wasn’t Glennon! Must’ve been Freeman, Right? Yo gonna throw Sullivan under the bus next? Maybe you can make a call to Rutgers and see if you can’t bring in a few more players from where you SHOULD be coaching and plug them in here! Tim Wright? Really?????? Face it! You’re tough guy approach doesn’t fly with Grown men!
September 29th, 2013 at 6:18 pm
Get Greg bozo the clown Schiano outta here now!!!
September 29th, 2013 at 6:34 pm
No doubt in my mind either.
September 29th, 2013 at 6:41 pm
Crickets from the Glennon mob (as expected). It only took one game to go from “he gives us the best chance to win” to “there’s a lot to look forward to”. I am looking forward to seeing who our new GM and head coach pick with our top 3 pick next year.
September 29th, 2013 at 6:56 pm
That 4th quarter 2nd and 6 pass play with 3:06 on the clock is the final nail in the coffin for me with this coaching staff. I am now on the fire Shiano bandwagon. They are out coached and in over his head! When you have talent and lose its all coaching! I’m done with Schiano!
September 29th, 2013 at 7:05 pm
Schiano could tape his comments and replay them at every post game press conference. He might not have any doubt, but the fans say otherwise.
September 29th, 2013 at 7:43 pm
I say Glazer #1 Son meet Gregory in the Parking Lot in the morning with a Pink slip and Annoint Sully as Interim HC and Reinsert Freeman as Starter after the Bye week!
Reset The Season by Shooting for 8 Wins.
September 29th, 2013 at 7:48 pm
Coach, stated that he will not loose next weak, and you can take that to the bank,
September 29th, 2013 at 7:52 pm
Rahb, 8 wins? HAHAHAHA…. Let’s start with 1 win… I don’t see the Buccaneers winning more then 1 game this year
September 29th, 2013 at 9:00 pm
i am running out of things to break in my house! This season had such high hopes, now its such sad. Schiano is not going anywhere unfortunately, we will have another season or at lest a half of season.
I just cant figure out why the offense has taken such a step back. The regression is absolutely mind blowing.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:50 pm
Schiano the Clown is on complete Denial. He is apron of the highest order and destroyed an otherwise talented team.
The rate of the leader determines the rate of the pack, and this pack is asleep.
I’m done with Schiano and if nothing changes in the next 2 weeks, I’m giving my Eagles tickets away for free.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:51 pm
Talib just saved the game and he would never have done that in Tampa.
September 30th, 2013 at 1:00 am
Isn’t this the same guy who told us he thought the 3rd rookie QB would be accurate?
Reality check: 55% and TWO interceptions in as many minutes turn the game over in the final seconds say “Not so Much”
I believe this is the same guy who traded Blount and Aqib Talib – for absolutely NOTHING – and justified by IMPLYING there was more going on behind the scenes than could be let on…only Blount is a wildman and Talib leads the league in INT’s as well as ending the Falgoons final scoring drive…in the end zone.
I’m afraid we don’t believe the sports media – nor the head coach – mainly because the locals are carrying the water for this guy.
Yeah, Gruden was bad for being less than entirely truthful with players…so he required being run out of town on a rail – carried by crazed, low-information “fans”…but this guy deserves our continued respect for lying to the media, lying TO and ABOUT players, and the media wants us to keep believing what you’re selling?
Sorry, no can do. You’re part of the problem now.
This franchise spent a TON of money to build a team around Josh Freeman – this fool of a coach has done everything he can to trash this kids reputation – and the fools in the media EAT it UP…going so far as to repeat RUMORS of substance abuse affecting trades…
No IDIOTS – it’s the COACH ruining ANY chance of trading a once valuable commodity – because the coach trashed the players to a fawning media eager to please the coach and printed whatever the coach wanted.
The fact is – the coach did this to his team, he did this to Josh Freeman, TWICE – the captaincy vote isn’t being ignored by us – he’s ruined any chance of getting ANYTHING for Josh Freeman. All a GOOD team has to do is wait till the end of the season and Freeman gets his pick of where he plays for the rest of his career.
Meanwhile – you guys have built a great relationship with a gutless, low-class, no character – PROVEN LIAR – of coach.
Great job, except, it isn’t. Time to check your pants boys, or your bed.
We’re done.
September 30th, 2013 at 5:23 am
Oh its going to turn…..trust me, lol.
September 30th, 2013 at 5:25 am
Didnt SanFran fire their OC around week 6 or so last year….
September 30th, 2013 at 5:26 am
