“That’s You”
September 30th, 2013Every week, the Bucs’ No. 3 wide receiver looks like an amateur. He had another drop yesterday and doesn’t seem to know where the chains are.
It’s not just Joe who bangs his head against the wall at the thought of Kevin Ogletree.
This morning, former Bucs guard Ian Beckles, co-host of Ron and Ian on WDAE-AM 620, took a break from insisting Greg Schiano won’t last the season to express disgust of Ogletree’s awareness.
“How many times does this guy run a route a yard short?” That’s not coaching. That’s you,” Beckles said.
Beckles explained that every receiver is coached to be aware of the first-down markers so it’s just Ogletree not being a smart football player.
Joe’s also not a big fan of how Ogletree doesn’t have much fight in him for a first down when he does catch a ball in front of the sticks. There’s no dive, no reach, little fight in the legs.
Joe thinks of the great efforts Preston Parker turned in on third down during the dreadful 2011 season, and that looks like Hall of Fame game film compared to Ogletree. The regression is everywhere on the Bucs offense.

Yes, Ogletree sucks horribly. We knew that in the preseason.
So does our options at TE.
Oh, and our Head coach

Every time I look at that dude, all I can think is “Why is someone PAYING this guy???”

The MGM used to blame Freeman for dropped passes. Now, the MGM is blaming the receivers for dropped passes.
Oy Vey!

Can someone tell me where our GM is? Seems like when we are winning he is on every media outlet yucking it up but when we are losing and there are serious questions that demand answers he is conspicuously in hiding.
Where you at Dom?

Two years, Two hundred million, 01-10 , two quarterbacks, no depth offense, or defense, media laughing behind close doors and a coach who has destroyed two young quarter backs. The bucs could have signed player’s in the off season, but this coach do not want player’s that will talk back to him, that is what happen to Freeman he started to talk back and ask questions. Mr. Glazer you signed several pro bowl players, now sign a pro bowl coach and management team.

^^Good point

You can not tell me that better talent then Ogletree was not available in the offseason. No TE and no 3rd WR capable of making a play kind of clamps down any offense, especially one with a rookie QB, ike the Bucs are now starting…… Even a talented offense loses a lot of its potency when one of its outlets is consistently dropping the ball. Look at the Falcons, that teams looks nothing like the playoff team when Roddy White is simply being a decoy during their not much better then the Bucs 1-3 start…..

Right!
I mean, look at all the Rutgers guys on the team both on roster and practice squad.

Where is chris owusu? (Spelling is prob wrong) THis dude was lighting up at training camp. I know he tweaked his ankle in the pre-season, but where is he? I think Demps is going to be ok, that jet sweep was nice. That dude is FAST!!! Get him the ball in space……
I dont know why, but I think after the bye week if we get crabtree back and another week with trainig up demps this O can only get better.
I am not a bucs basher like most of you clowns, Domink and schiano have done a good job. D is stout and they have added some awesome talent. Draft picks last two years have been good also.

I was hoping maybe Demps for some of that duty but he seemed to be knocked over by a stiff breeze during his kick off returns.

Ogletree needs replaced by Owusu. What happened to Tiquan Underwood? Is he on the practice squad? if so, stick him in the lineup!
September 30th, 2013 at 10:39 am
Tiquan Underwood is still a free agent, just saying..

Ogletree is a Bum! Dallas cut that garbage for a reason – Hellooo?
Dominik is in hiding just like he was during Raheem’s skid!
I would go get T.O. or Chad over this bum 7 days a week.
September 30th, 2013 at 11:36 am
That’s my point – where is the supposedly leader in Dominik told hold his decision making and acquisitions accountable?

Nobody mentioned that our leading receiver yesterday was Wright, a rookie. It looks like he would make a better 3rd WR option than Ogletree if Crabtree starts at TE next game as he should.
