No Nicks News Is Promising

Joe was very pleased yesterday to learn that Carl Nicks wasn’t designated to open the 2013 season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. That would have meant the All-Pro guard would have been shelved until Week 7, missing six games.
That gave Joe a lot of hope that Nicks would be recovered sooner rather than later from the MRSA infection in his foot and ready to roll after rehabilitating as best he can from his offseason toe/foot surgery.
If Nicks was in bad shape, then the Bucs surely would have preferred having the roster spot placing him on the PUP list would have opened, versus letting Nicks be an oversized cheerleader for a month or so.
Today at One Buc Palace, Greg Schiano didn’t rule out Nicks playing Sunday against the Jets in the season opener.
Joe would be stunned if that happened, but the mere fact that it’s possible if very encouraging.
Nicks and Davin Joseph on the field together would be a beautiful site for Bucs fans.

Buccaneer fans are hard to come by where i’m from. This will be just my second time seeing the BUCS actually play but I am huge fan. Seeing Nicks and Joseph on the field would be great but they may not need to rush him back. I’m very confident in how this team has been built and I think Tampa is about to shock the world. Can’t wait for week 1. See ya East Rutherfod.

Welcome…a breath of positive fresh air amongst a bunch of whining, complaining negative malcontents that have virtually nothing positive to say about “their” team.
Hidden under the guise of constructive criticizm…they (probably redneck Panther fans) bash all things Bucs.
At least those of us are enjoying the obvious upgrades in personnel and are looking forward with enthusiasm to the game.
Somehow, I think they hope we lose just so they will be proven right. That, is not a fan.

I said it already and I’ll say it again. Nicks will be in the lineup by week 2. Where are all those fools that said he was done for the season? Yes I have their comments saved, so if they want to drop in here and run their mouths about it. Feel free whenever your ready.

Tampabaybucfan …lol I was contemplating a 3 day rest period from posting. I lasted 1 day. As for this guy BucFansSuck. It’s probably an actual optimistic fan that was in here before and got tired of all the negative comments about the team. So they made up a new name to prove a point to the negative fans.

As far as it being me. I don’t need to make up a fictitious name to prove my point. I whined about them fans all summer long. I did not whine about the team or the decisions that they made, because I can’t control what they are doing. I might complain about certain things during the REGULAR season though. It’s only natural.

I’m old enough that nothing gets to me. Was a season ticket holder in 1976. I know what it is like to go through tough times.
I feel somewhat sorry for these guys. The true fan experience is a wonderful thing….I get up for every season and this year is no different. I am hopeful until the season is lost and then I start thinking about next year’s draft picks.
The only thing that gets to me at my age is the ticking of the clock.

Other fans do spend lot’s of time on boards reading and trolling, so him knowing a good bit of what’s gone on wouldn’t come as much of a surprise either.

Last night I went around and checked out blogs from other teams sites. Just to compare their fans to ours.
I went by their records last year so I picked 4 teams that had pretty dismal records in 2012.
I wanted to check how pissed off they were at their team, their GM’s or certain players.
Raiders 4-12 – A little complaining mostly back and forth to eachother not much bad stuff said about the team at all.
Eagles 4-12 – Very very little complaining at all.
The Jaguars 2-14 – None at all. A little worry over Gabbert, but virtually no complaining at all.
The Lions 4-12- Just as bad as you people are in here. Mostly complaining about Schwartz though, not much else.
Now not to direct you off of this WONDERFUL site, but if you get a chance google a few of them sometime.
So maybe you can see just how ridiculous some of you are towards MY Bucs. Some of you are not only ridiculous, but make me disgusted that you call yourselves fans. I think the REAL fans know who I’m talking about. I’m not going to single anyone out, they do a good job of it all by themselves. Just google some of those other teams and compare like I did, it’s a real eye opener.
I was so glad when I found JBF. Now I wish I never found it. You so-called fans have opened my eyes to something I wish I never knew. Oh how bad I’d love to call out the names of like 9 of you that don’t deserve this team. It’s okay though as I probably will never see ANY of you attend a game anyways, unless the team goes 10-6 or 11-5 someday. I’m typing all this as reminder to the REAL fans that are still here. Oh no if I’m wrong when I say Freeman is going to play lights out this season. Or If I’m wrong when I say the Bucs will win the South Division this season. I’ll be the 1st one calling myself an idiot on these threads.
Classic example of a dumb Buc fan. I was at last Thursday’s game. Some Buc fan behind me says to his friend. The Bucs should pick up Tebow. I turned around and said, why do you say that? He’s said if they got Tebow atleast the blackouts would end and I wouldn’t have to come out here and sit in this heat anymore. I said, why because of all the Gator fans? He said yup. I just shook my head, turned back around and watched the game.
So last night I was looking around PR’s site. I don’t go there much so I decided to just look around and read some comments. I’ll tell you one thing that place is filled with morons. I mean oozing out the side and over the top with morons. It makes some of the posters on here look like Einsteins.
