Freeman Inactive
September 29th, 2013Here are your Bucs inactives for today. Josh Freeman, somehow, got demoted from No. 2 QB on Wednesday, per Greg Schiano, to inactive today. So now Greg Schiano believes Dan Orlovsky gives the Bucs a better chance to win in case of an injury to Mike Glennon.
Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams are ready to roll:
CB Michael Adams
T Gabe Carimi
TE Tom Crabtree
QB Josh Freeman
DT Derek Landri
CB Rashaan Melvin
DE Trevor Scott

Lol wow.
Schiano is such a little bitc.h man
September 29th, 2013 at 11:48 am
He’s inactive cause he missed more than one meeting this week, according to Ian Rapport’s sources, that is.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:49 am
Circling the drain..
September 29th, 2013 at 11:49 am
Hey Joe..is Trevor Scott injured?
September 29th, 2013 at 11:49 am
Shocked! I am SHOCKED by this news!
Lets face it, if the Bucs could find anybody to give them a bag of beans for Free then he would already be gone. But they can’t…because other teams aren’t stupid enough to give compensation for a player they can sign in the offseason.
Way things are going now, I can only assume Lane Kiffin will be the coach next year.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:51 am
Josh is the one being a bitch not Shiano.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:54 am
@Jose
I’ll just meet you in the middle and say they’re BOTH being bit.ches.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:55 am
I have been waiting for an elite Qb in Tampa all my life and I hope Glennon shows he just might be that guy.Glennon 3 td is my thought on today from Glennon.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:55 am
Reported by PFT that Josh missed meetings during the week.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:55 am
What happened to Scott?
September 29th, 2013 at 11:58 am
It pains me to have to say it, but Josh Freeman is no longer an asset to the team. He has become a distraction and a liability to the Bucs. Best for him and the team to part ways and move on. I would also not be surprised to learn that Josh has some personal issues in his life he is trying to deal with. I wish him well! Go Bucs!
September 29th, 2013 at 11:58 am
Lol Glennon throwing 3tds? Ok.
This is Gradkowski all over again.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:58 am
Shouldn’t our kicker be inactive?
September 29th, 2013 at 11:59 am
It’s not a shocker at all. You don’t want to play somebody who you are trying to trade. Reports are that several teams are doing investigations and background checks on Josh.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:02 pm
@ Jordon, a rumor about some sort of substance abuse issue now also popping up. Would explain the constant oversleeping
September 29th, 2013 at 12:02 pm
We want Wanny! Let a losing streak begin…need a fresh answer for 2014.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:05 pm
Great news that both vjax and williams are available. Demps is active, will they use him and if so how, that should be interesting to watch. If our defense can get to Palmer and they should, he’s been sacked 9 times so far, and also stuff the run we should win. Go Bucs.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:07 pm
LMAO @ Cris Carter
September 29th, 2013 at 12:09 pm
Ya’ll remember the time Free had to leave at halftime to get IV fluids because he was dehydrated?
He lasted longer than I thought he would. Go Bucs!
September 29th, 2013 at 12:10 pm
Greg says “It’s my way, my way, and my way”. I say ” pride comes before a big fall” ask Chucky!
September 29th, 2013 at 12:11 pm
This is starting to remind me of the Keyshawn Johnson situation. If they can’t find a partner by tomorrow afternoon I could see them either flat out releasing him or suspending him. The fact that he hasn’t already been released makes me believe that something is in the works behind closed doors.
I would personally rather see us trade for a player that might be able to help us now than a late round draft pick. Sadly, at this point I think he’s probably worth a pinch of dried dog sh!t, but Dominik has somehow gotten something in return for players like this in the past.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:13 pm
has anyone ever thought maybe some qbs should make a position change? Say Freeman a linebacker or Tebow a tightend?
September 29th, 2013 at 12:13 pm
Wow. Chris Carter just ripped Josh a new one. His dirty laundry sure being aired now.
Boy pressure sure now on Glennon. If we lose this game, it’s going to get ugly
September 29th, 2013 at 12:14 pm
Hey Buco Bruce, Tampa has had many elite QB’s, they just got rid of them too soon; Doug Williams, Steve Young. Maybe you weren’t following the Bucs then.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:14 pm
Thats what happens when you give unsanctioned interviews.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:18 pm
Josh Freeman claimed that a power outage caused his oversleeping. Come on dude. This is 2013. If something is important, such as your freaking job, there is this thing called an alarm on your phone. Thats your backup in case the ummm, power goes out.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:23 pm
Horice, no offense to Doug Williams but he wasn’t an elite Qb. I know he has a SB ring and was clutch in that game but you have to look at the body of work and its average at best. 100TD’s 93 picks. 49.5% compl percentage. Steve Young being traded is true. That is 1.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:23 pm
Cmurda, let’s be real. Josh is 25. What 25 year old do you know that DOESN’T use their phone for every alarm and notification?
This is just getting sad. Not a Buccaneer Man or a man, period.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:31 pm
@BucDan
Couldn’t agree more. Whats even worse, my alarm clock has a battery back up in it so that NEVER happens. He was lying and if you can’t trust the guy what do you have?
September 29th, 2013 at 12:33 pm
Glennon is better than you guys give credit for, but I’m still a freeman fan. I wish him the best. Let’s go Bucs. I dislike Schiano tho
September 29th, 2013 at 12:41 pm
I suppose coach nut case thinks our third stringer also gives us the best chance to win.
I expected this.
Just as I expect a future jettison of Schiano with no hope of ever returning to the league.
Just a matter of time.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:45 pm
Doug Williams is very overrated by the Bucs fan base. He was alright; not great. We would’ve gone to the Super Bowl in 1979 if he had been able to get us 10 points.
September 29th, 2013 at 12:51 pm
@patrick
Doug didn’t play the second half. Take a look at what happened after Doug left. Not another winning season until Dungy.
